Ecosexuality

Please be careful making judgments of other's sexualities and romantic orientation. Discussing them is fine, invalidating them is not.

Moving forward, please refrain from any talk that might invalidate objectum sexual or objectum romantic orientations.

Going back to the original article. The point which most people seem to have overlooked is their menage à trois. Partners, so perhaps experiencing attraction to each other, also feel attraction to an (in this case animate) object.

When it comes to objectum (a) sexuality, I can entirely empathise with these people.

Humorous aside, maybe ecosexuals experience orgasms during earthquakes (did the earth move for you and all that) :P

Must. Refrain. From. Making. Tasteless. Joke...

I think that this isn't comparable to actual objectumsexuality AT ALL. This a try to attract attention; a weird way to say "Hey look, nature is pretty cool."

Yeah. They're not actually sexually attracted to nature. It's basically a marketing ploy.

In an over- sexualised world, this was the only thing missing! Isn't this sex deprived world done with procreating enough for the world to explode!

She is a porn star-turned-controversial performance artist. Obviously she cannot get over sex it seems.

Ecological issues are a growing concern and I don't think treating it this way is helping the cause anyhow. More than reducing the seriousness of the issue, some pervert movement like this doesn't do any good.

Oh please, these are just people looking for attention as "oh hey look we are inventing a new sexuality cuz..why not, Im bored, an science can back it up because plants have sex organs.." This reads more like an Ad than it does news.. and I suggest that woman get breast reduction surgery before she breaks her back humping a tree root..next

My boobs are way bigger than hers, I feel offended that you're technically suggesting I'd break my back if I try to hump tree roots. That's oppression of my boobs and my possible future sexual preferences!! Now I need a safe space :'c *has a meltdown in the corner*

I was going to suggest you enter into Guiness World Book for largest boobies but apparently that title is already held by an american woman and each breast weights like 45 kilos each!! thats almost like having two of me strapped to her chest!

re: objectumsexuality

There's a pretty insightful thread on the subject right here. Totally different ball game.

Umm, no, if there's an emotional connection and not just 'getting off' (as it is with the fence and theme park ride ladies), it's objectum sexuality which is an orientation. Of course the media is going to focus on the sexual part because 'Hey, hey! Look at these freaks! Click on our link!'.

Thank you for letting us know we're disgusting, because even though I'm not sexual I'm certainly objectum.

@Anthracite_Impreza Please, the sarcasm was unnecessary; I never said that you, or anyone else, for that matter, was disgusting. I'm no expert, but through a basic dissection of the classifications/degrees of sexuality, this specific form of "ecosexuality" (please note my distinction, as I was referring to the original article of ecosexuality) does not appear to be its own sexual orientation when the majority of people are otherwise hetero- or homo-sexual.

If you'd seen the comments I've seen about my orientation you'd be bitter too.

I'm sorry about that. I've noticed it's hard enough being slightly aro, and being asked to write essays about romance and desire in the literature class I'm taking. Besides, isn't capitalism a much more interesting topic??
