A question for all, specially not born asexuals:

Introverts interiorize. By interiorizing, one thing which was meant to be

acted externally is transformed into a phenomena of thought, or, on an even

deeper level, on totally different things which influence or become the

character of this introvert individual.

I don't like the equalitarian idea that if a person doesn't live a certain

thing, then he must live it internally - I don't think this is necessary -

but this suggestion exists.

So, a suggestion that arises is: asexuality is a sexuality interiorized.

No: it's not about subliming, etc - it's about a supposedly necessary event

that if not lived may be converted into something else, like vapor into

water, or ice, or an asexual's character.

Does there have to be a one-to-one correlation between a basic impulse and the thing it's expressed as, in a sublimated form? Nah. Trying to figure out how sublimation happens and the form it takes (e.g. raw greed --> career ambition) is where psychologists make their bread and butter, and they ain't figured it out yet.

Anything I've ever remotely recognized as a sexual impulse (and there've been mighty few) tended to be so wee and insignificant that it couldn't power a hamster wheel, much less inspire and drive the creation of something like Berlioz's Symphonie fantastique. Besides, being an introvert can have nothing to do with sex; I believe in a much broader spectrum of shyness, and sexual shyness only exists to the limit that a person has a sex drive in the first place. Possible slogan: "I'm not sublimating, I just forgot!"
