ReyGraves
So... What would a gender therapist do? How would they help? I just starting to seriously consider this because I don't talk to anyone and I feel like the background stress of this and not going by Rey is starting to take a toll. (About two years into figuring out I'm not cis) Background dysphoria... Anyway, if y'all wouldn't mind, how did they help you? Or why did you decided to see one? I just think I'm bottling too many things up and it's affecting everyday life. I've become increasingly apathetic about things and typically reflect the emotion of the room, I think I'm too good at hiding things because no one has noticed or asked. My default emotion is nothing. I lack motivation, lack passion for anything. Can't ever decide anything. ...did I just unload stuff I could be telling a therapist? Is that what they're there for? To have someone listening? Advice would be great thanks
RK800
Gender therapists help with lots of things. They can help you figure out your identity if that's what you need, can write letters for HRT, recommend endocrinologists, trans friendly surgeons, or just listen and help you cope with dysphoria. Sadly I can't afford one.
