Not political movements or parties. Two choices or maybe three every election cycle is not exactly a reason to put on my Ra Ra shoes and cheer. Especially the last two they trotted out there ! I believe in people looking after themselves as much as possible and the state helping only those in genuine need. Business should be left alone and as much as possible should be privatised. The liberal part of me is when it comes to gender and sexuality. I don't believe religion should interfere in such things. In fact I'd love for all countries to more towards secular societies. Not as hard as Europe, but far from center. I'm an actual moderate, and people on the Left think I'm an extreamist. Just to put it in perspective. So if you find yourself agreeing more often than not with the liberal media, or political shows like John Oliver or Colbert. You are not a really a moderate, but a full blown Liberal. As for the political compass - I'm dead centre, which is true I vote Independent (except for the latest 2017 election when I broke this to ensure that May had a majority to pursue BREXIT, see where that got us).
