virtua
Thanks for posting this! This "Specific guide on traveling Spain on a budget in English" link is geared more toward the backpacking/hitchhiking type of travel, but I feel that it has a lot of useful information about traveling in Spain and throughout Europe. It's where I got some of my information from regarding accommodation. For those who wouldn't be comfortable traveling in that manner, Lonely Planet offers a good overview of how to travel on a budget. This is the link to the Madrid article and it has a lot of information on currency costs, transportation, food, lodging, sites of interests, and activities, etc. in addition to a community forum. If anyone has any questions about the accommodation links listed above, please feel free to post them here or PM me!
