alex.vampire
I identify as Asexual but I'm having hard figuring out what my romantic orientation is. In the past I had a lot of squishes, but now I have a bunch of crushes, mine now is Atticus Shaffer. It seems like I only develop crushes on people of the same sex, but I don't want to go into a relationship unless it was one of my crushes and even at that if a celeb asked me out I would reject them. I have random times of day when I get really lovey dovey and then plummet back down to being neutral or repulsed.
The Dryad
I think for aces it's confusing to differentiate between platonic admiration, aesthetic attraction, or squishes/crushes. For me, I think even if you fantasize about cuddling or more, the actual repulsion of wanting to be close to someone makes you aromantic (as in kissing, hugging, holding hands, etc.), But idk, I could be wrong, hope this somewhat helps you. Star Bit
So you're saying you only desire to date your crushes and not someone you're not attracted to? That's completely normal. People also have their affection up's and downs. Normal again.
Guest
What you are experiencing is perfectly normal for romantic people. You've basically just described an average homoromantic person,
