NoctuaKnight Posted March 29, 2017 Share Posted March 29, 2017 Hello World of Asexuality! My name is NoctuaKnight! I am 18 years old and I'm a college student on a Christian campus. I love my campus a lot, and I love my friends dearly. However this is a super conservative school, and my friends don't really understand a lot about the LGBT+ community. And they CERTAINLY wouldn't understand asexuality! Luckily they don't ask me much about it because they have come to accept that I at least don't have a crush on anyone. Anyway, I am an asexual, probably aromantic too. I am just here at this site to make friends with other Aces/Aros because even though I love my friends so dearly, they have no idea what it is like to hear them gawk over guys and how hot they are when I just sit their uncomfortably hoping they don't notice. I'm glad you made your way here. : ) I also went to a Christian (Catholic) university...though at the time I didn't identify as asexual (cause I didn't know it existed!), but I felt like I was not of the "norm," if you will. It can be tough, but you're not alone! You'll find a lot of awesome and supportive people that can relate to you here. And maybe someday you'll get comfortable enough or find some good info here to share with your friends, but there's no rush in coming out. Best wishes, and I hope you enjoy being a member! I'm here to make friends too, or to at least talk to new and lovely people, so feel free to send a message! I'm new to posting here too and it's exciting. It's funny, I go to a school that's technically Catholic too! Only mine's about as liberal as it gets while keeping it's Catholic standing, so I forget sometimes that it's actually a Catholic school.
