Guest
Hey everybody, The admod team has some new things going on with reports that we are implementing or considering implementing in the future and we would like to announce them here. First we have implemented a function so that any time a member receives a warning, they will have to confirm that they have received the warning before posting on the forums again. An important note to point out is that confirming that you received a warning does NOT mean you automatically agree that the warning is unappealable, just that it was received. Secondly the admod team is considering a forum for appeals and emergency issues. However, due to the nature of this forum (it is an untested format and can only be tested with the membership) we would like to ask you guys to help us test out the format and give us your thoughts before implementing this idea. What we need is for members to post topics and/or replies in the forum (please keep the topics and replies TOS friendly and not related to appeals or reports as of yet) and also tell us what they can and cannot do and see in a sister thread to this one in site comments. If this test run is successful, we will start a thread with the membership about this idea (and other ideas that the membership might have come up with) further before deciding to implement the idea. If you have any questions or concerns about warning confirmation or about the test forum please post it here. If you have any input on what happened when you tried to use the test forum, please post it in our sister thread here. On behalf of the admod team, Kisa the Krampus, Administrator
Joe the Stoic
@Kisa the Krampus, test forum sounds great. Where do I sign up?
Guest
It's on the front page. Should be under the welcome section.
Sally
So how do we find out we've been warned? I seem to remember that recently a member did not know they'd been warned (or something) because they didn't get a PM.
Ashmedai
Usually, people do get sent a PM. For some reason, there was an error where in one case one wasn't sent.

If you do not receive a PM (which, they seem to want to rely on the server to send it, rather than doing it manually lately) it'll be in your profile. So, if you cannot post under this new system, go to your profile page to check for a warning.
