You'll meet someone who will make you want sex.

It's not a real romantic relationship without sex.

You just have so much self-control and you must be so productive! I wish could be asexual!

I didn't know that was a legitimate choice!

Any quote from anyone who feels entitled to sex, ever.

"When you get married..." or "When you have kids..."

Two constant ones from my own experience:

"He/she is so smart/nice/attractive, I can't believe they're still single!"

"I should set you up with ..."

Mm yes I love when they skip "if" and go straight to "when."

"wait til you meet "the one", then you'll change your mind"

"You can't be asexual, you told me he/she was attractive!'

...  and my all time favorite...  "You just need a good rape to straighten you out."

"Sex is SO great!!!!!!!! Sex is SO BEAUTIFUL! HOW CAN YOU SAY YOU HAVE NO INTEREST IN IT?!"

"YOU  MUST BE SICK. "

"EVERYONE LOVES SEX!"

"The desire to have sex/kids will creep up on you."

"Don't you feel... shortchanged?" (this with the kind of pitiful look you'd give a dying friend)

"That's not a thing" (referring to asexuality)

"You'll grow out of it"

"Don't label yourself"

"[Insert romantic interest's name here] would disagree!"

(All of these said to me by the same person!)

"That's not really an orientation, everyone feels uncomfortable with hyper sexualization"

From someone I had known in high school and talked to through FB messenger last year:

"You'll find someone"

From my bf (maybe ex soon):

"We're in the prime of our lives! How can you not want sex?" *gets incredibly frustrated and angry, and I'm just there feeling awkward*

This happened to me recently

Her: So, do you have a boyfriend?

Me: Uh.. no..

Her: Oh okay, so you're like more academically driven. I'm the same way.

My bf's exact words! He even said he feels like some elderly couple and I need to get my hormones checked or something...

As if being like an elderly couple is a bad thing. And as if all elderly couples don't have sex ever

"You need to get laid."

 - No, you need to STFU.

Or: "You're not a 'real' adult if you're still a virgin."

 - I'm 22, and that legally makes me an adult.

Or the "insult" of ignoramuses worldwide: "You're just a virgin nerd."

 - The choice was voluntary morons; you aren't insulting me. Besides, a whole bunch of people love video games and "nerdy" stuff.

Or everyone's favorite personal question: "Do you masturbate?"

 - Is this just something you go up to someone and ask these days? Like WTF.

"I'm sure your time will come"

Like I'm just falling behind everyone else or something?

"How do you know if you've never tried to be with someone?"

I have 'tried' dating. It made me uncomfortable.

"You can't complain that you're lonely because you're not with anyone if you're ace"

Because somehow that makes me immune from loneliness, like I'm not watching everyone I've ever known meet other people now.

"I never wanted marriage and babies when I Was younger, you'll change your mind"

Ok. Good for you.

"Oh, you're just a late bloomer."

"It's just a phase."

"Come on, you're actually gay aren't you?"

"You're too pretty/attractive to be celibate."

"If you keep on telling people that you'll never get laid."

Once person accepts and/or understands what asexuality is:

"So, how do you masturbate?"

"So, why do you dress so nicely/wear makeup/work out?" (delete as appropriate)

"Someone will come along who will change your mind"

"You just havent found the right one"

"So your trying to tell me your kinda...just there or something?"

"One day..."

Literally follow that last line with anything sexual related and i garuntee its offensive

These from a guy (man) I was really interested in, and stayed the night at his place but didn't want to have sex with him - his comments afterwards:

"Your behaviour is like women's liberation never happened."

"When a woman comes to my bed, it's (or should be) obvious that sex will happen."

That whole "women's liberation" thing, like you're obviously somehow sexually repressed, like a Victorian puritan or something, if you just don't want to have sex, at any given time or place (or possibly never)... Jeez!

Don't know if you ever heard this one. Maybe it's a southern thing. " If it weren't for the penis/vagina ( I'm using clinical terms here not the slang)  there would be a bounty out on every one of them ( men/women).  Your purpose on this earth is purely sexual as far as relationships.

They say this straight too not just drunk or heart broken. 🚻

The most annoying statement for me by far is "you just haven't met the right person", or some other variation. I just want to yell back, "maybe you're homosexual and haven't met the right person yet." I mean, by this logic, every person could have a different orientation than what they identify as.

I once had someone say to me, "Wait...so you still think people are attractive? How does that work?"

This was followed by, "You think cats are cute, right? How can you tell?"

That's a disgusting attitude, that is how rape can occur.

I hate it when they boast about their sex life.Ok sure you rubbed you genitals unto some else's genitals,do you also know that humans have been doing this since the dawn of time?? They're acting like they achieved elite status or something when in reality they did and achived nothing special.

Or when they take pride because they had many sex partners. If they take pride for something like this then their lifes must be pretty boring.

I agree.  So they had sex.  So what?   Why must they broadcast it.  It's not like they did something special or something any human being can not do, if they want to.

I was recently told that no one would want me if I didn't have sex with them. This came from my grandfather and I told him that anyone who only wanted sex out of a relationship is not the one for me.
