Oldest of two. My sister's approx. 3 years younger.

I'd say birth order has nothing to do with Asexuality. LOL

I totally agree with you. The main point is to give us something to say about our siblings, rather than ourselves.:D

Eldest out of my mum's children, but second eldest out of the children my Dad has had. 9 in all.

I'm an only child. Always wanted at least one brother or sister, though. One of my aunts had 12 kids. (7 girls and 5 boys, I think.) The few times I've visited in the past, they told me I was like another sister to them. I don't live near them, though. I have a ton more cousins besides them, and if I had lived closer to them growing up, I might have felt differently about siblings and maybe not as lonely.

Oldest, my brother is 8 years younger and straight.

I read a study saying that ace women tend to be oldest children and ace men tend to be youngest.

I saw the title of this thread and wondered if the question would be whether asexuality was caused by birth.

Oldest of two, my brother is 8 years younger than me. (And the closest thing I have to a QPR, which is great.)

I recently read a study that said ace men are more often younger siblings and ace women are more often older siblings. So I guess I'd fit.

Youngest of 3, and my older brothers are 8 and 10 years older. (So big gap between them and me lol.)

Only child for 22 years. Recently lost a step-brother who was stillborn.

Have a lot of cousins who are similar ages but didn't see them much. Was mostly around adults, reading a book rather than socialising.
