Are we just gonna gloss over the fact that hindi is a language not a religion?

If you're referring to the hindi speaking tribe, then state that explicitly.

But from the context, i'm assuming you're referring to the religion, which is hindu

None of these are a "tribe" - that implies there's groups of likeminded people out there I socialise with, which I don't. I'm really not a joiner. I picked a couple I value enough to say "I'm xxx". .

I looked for "Artist" and didn't find it.

Also "Spiritual but not religious" wasn't an option, so I left all the religion/philosophy ones alone.

Interesting that many do identify with LGBTTQIAPD+. I know the A can stand for Ace/Acro as well as Ally these days, and I'm an ally, for sure, but I don't feel "part" of that, whatever it is. LGBT is a community... This extended thing is nothing I've ever seen out there that accepts people like me, not now and not when I identified as gray/demi-pansexual, I would have picked MOGAI, possibly, if it was there, but again, I don't go round saying "I id as a MOGAI", so maybe not.

The only culture I really go out of my way to get involved with is tuner culture, ie. modified cars.

I'm Norse Heathen/Pagan, wicca and a metalhead. I can make your ears fall off with volcanology/geology (really is a geologist no surprise here). I also love astronomy and weather and can go into those if I felt like it.

Hoooo boy.

*Jehovah's Witness

*Gypsy (although you really shouldn't use that word. Many people consider it a slur. For the style, use hippie or bohemian/boho or something else. For the ethnicity, use Roma or Romani)

Thanks, I was really fighting the urge to correct those spellings D:

Personally, Hippie, Buddhist, Vegan **peace sign**

I’m not quite sure if I’d call it “social tribes” because they aren’t for me but here we go.

-Antitheist Atheist
- Nerd
-Otaku
-Gamer
-Metalhead

I also technically fall under the category of LGBT but I didn’t click it because it doesn’t fit here in my opinion. All those other things refer to parts of who I am as a person while being categorised under LGBT is more a part of what I am.
It is a random factor I was born with just like having blue eyes and blond hair. It doesn’t define me and says nothing about my personality, values or interests or anything really.

Social tribe? That's funny, but anyways, I guess I would fall into these categories: Nerd, gamer, androgynous, metalhead, agnostic.

Although I fall into the categories I ticked, I never joined any groups for these categories, so I was singular, always.

I'm a geek, loner, and agnostic/atheist.

A bit of a rocker as well, and otaku (only a mild one though). I guess you could also say I'm spiritual as well since I believe in ghosts/astrology/etc, and I'm highly interested in the topic.

LIke most people here, I don't usually socialize with many/most of these groups, but I describe myself as them anyway.

Agnostic

Punk - I like punk rock and the punk/skate/urban aesthetic

Feminist - Equal rights and treatment :) (although my sister is becoming something of a SJW...)

Anarchist - F yeah, anarchy! Down with the government!

Nerd - Im a huge nerd because I love video games (I've gone to multiple cons.) I also love astronomy and most science

Gamer - Im a huge gamer, love video games right down to a few eSports (love watching tourneys) and there's some I love more than others of course, and for those I try to get merchandise, mostly official, but sometimes there's more and better fan made stuff.

I would put artist as well if that were an option.

Athlete, and a bit of a nerd, I guess. I don't view my religion as part of a tribal identity. I would describe myself as an environmentalist, too.

have been called a hipster before, but I find that offensive.

I like some of the punk style, but I don't have anything that would be considered that. I love to play video games, but don't play them that often. If I had the time and money, I'd definitely be in this 'tribe'.

I do consider myself to be in the LGBTQ+ family. Kind of felt that way even when I thought I was just an ally. Especially since my parent's a trans woman, and I have many friends who make up the other letters. I guess I'm an otaku since I like anime, manga, Jdrama, Jpop/Jrock. Although, I guess I can geek out about other things. I can be a social butterfly. Certainly was in college. I'm a feminist, but didn't think this was a tribe. Obviously, not like a rad fem. I'm a Jew. In junior high through some of college, band was definitely a tribe. Felt like a family. Certainly had our own culture with it, too.

I picked two things but, really, I'm also a:

Buddhist

Feminist

Hippie (just without the drugs and sex, and with the love of regular bathing :) )

Nerd (especially in regards to sword and sorcery)

Loner

Biker (insofar as riding motorcycles, not as a member of any kind of biker gang)

Nudist (because a body needs to be naked and 'breathe' with a fair amount of regularity. Though for me, it is just in the privacy of my own home)

It's funny how if I did this poll in high school I would have gotten completely different results. Also I find it interesting how many aces consider themselves to be loners...

As for missed categories, I am also a minimalist.

Otaku, gamer, feminist, atheist, and loner.

To specify my atheism, I don't believe in divinity, but I draw from multiple religious philosophies from multiple religions, and reject many other philosophies. I don't cherry pick for the sake of convenience Instead I try to focus on which combination of philosophies will create the most peaceful world; what would one call that?

uhm. there wasn't gay and atheist, and I assume cybergoths count as goths?

I really had no idea how to answer this, so I said "gothic/neo gothic" (don't really like this label formed in that way) and "geek" because I'm strongly into sciences.

I'm just your friendly nerdy ordinary queer demi cyber ace from next door. :D Does that make any sense? Yes? No? Nevermind.  I am what I am - throws all the labels out of the window before getting back to her cake again.

I'm just old, average and irrelevant. Is that a tribe ? Yes we are. The youth ignore what lays around the corner for all of us. Time is the greatest leveler of us all. 😦

if anything sums it up, I would be probably like this: (cyber)goth, geek, gay, atheist, androgynous (only by appearance, though), loner, anarchist, and could consider myself nihilist and misanthrope, if that could ever count as 'social tribes'. :P
