KingRu Posted September 27, 2016 Share Posted September 27, 2016 Hi all, I am a 27 year old male and just learned about the asexual spectrum and it has made some things a lot clearer for me. I'm still fully trying to understand how I fit in the scale but I n I am towards the Demi side. I lost my virginity at 18 to someone that I had no real interest being with but I was tired of getting shit for being a virgin. Fast forward and I have been in a relationship for the past 5 years with someone who was a really close friend of mine. For me as a Demi this fits me like a glove. Alternatively she is far more hypersexual and derives love from sex. This has put strain on our relationship because I show her love in many other ways we just have different ways of receiving it. I am trying to work on it and so is she but it does make things awkward at times. Anyways I am really glad I found this group so maybe I can understand more about the way I am.
