I never really every gave the topic of hypersexuality too much thought, but I ran into a video of someone discussing their issue with it.

I decided to share it., but yeah it does contain too much information.

Sorry i could not get through the video.

But on a personal thought about hypersexuality....Never thought much about hypersexuality before now..... It's a very interesting thought. Though it sounds like a lot to deal with (of course coming from a person on the polar opposite of the spectrum, it sounds like physical torture).

Hypersexuality seems to have a negative social context (which is completely effed up).

Sometimes, apart from how the video suggests it can be part of imbalanced hormones, it can also be a component of mental illness, can be part of a mania episode though there's countless mental syndromes covering it.

It depends on culture, what feels like a problem to a person, may not be a problem for another. Some are proud to be hypersexual.

In any case, simaler to a loss of libido that such libido existed before as described on AVEN's front page, any extreme changes of libido and sexual behaviour should be consulted for by a doctor just in case.

you know, thanks to that situation I have an idea of what hypersexuality is, and I understand this is something that one cannot actually control, but I wouldn't bear sharing my life with such person... well, unless they seek for help when it disturbs them. He was cheating on me because I was physically too far + I'm actually hyposexual, so I don't have big needs at all. :x He knows he was hurting me with what he was doing, but I wanted to sacrifice myself to help him. But then he said But I don't want to heal.

Hmm, I was noticing that in some cases people that have a Bipolar Disorder also seem to report hypersexuality when they are going through the manic portion of the disorder.
