kappapeachie
i'm just asking since it seems almost nonexistent on this forum or could be that i'm not looking deep into it.
Guest
My sensual attraction often stays in "daydream level". I'm not sure how strong desire I'd count as a lush, but I remember having something comparable.
Ashmedai
I've had them several times
SithLord
A what or a what? I have to agree with this question. ^ Would the OP or someone please define "smush" and "lush"? I've heard of crush, squish, and something like a cucumber or zuccini (I forgot what this last one is) but have never heard of smush and lush.
Ricki
In my never ending attempt to become Sherlock Holmes, I did my research into "Smush". I hope I got it wrong. http://tinypic.com/r/207qf7c/
Guest
I wish i didn't google the word "Smush" and now im afraid to google the word "Lush" :D
kappapeachie
Smush - (based on sexual attraction) a strong desire to be sexually close to or have a sexual relationship with a specific person; ex. of usage: “They’re so smushable”/“i’m in complete smush for you”/“Who’s your current smush?” Lush - (based on sensual attraction) a strong desire to be sensually close to or engage in sensual activities with a specific person; ex. of usage: “I have a lush for you”/“I’m in total lush with you”/“Who are you currently lushing for?”
SpaceDustbin
Never heard of the terms before, but no, and no. Anyway, thanks for explaining so I didn't have to venture into the scary world of google

Telecaster68
Who makes this stuff up? Is it just teen slang? It all sounds like it's from a 1950s girls' boarding school.

zoidberger
I'll never tell anyone who my squeeze, trample, or squoosh is. Some things you just keep to yourself.
SpeedinThroughSpace
I've only heard of 'lush' as an adjective before, you know, as in 'lush green'. ;) As for OP's actual question, no on both. I wouldn't call the occasional feeling of wanting to hug a friend or family member that I get a desire to be sensual with them. It's not a desire. Sometimes I just hug people I'm close to. Rising Sun
So, from what I understand, a crush without the desire to actually be a couple. Plenty of crushes don't involve any desire to date or to be a couple. It doesn't make them "not a crush".
SeriousCyclist
1877 It seems like the whole thing falls down to semantics, being "sexually" or "sensually" close. I have absolutely no idea what either of those two mean, let alone the difference between them. I'm confused.
Philip027
No, but I have run into many instances of people employing niche terminology that only they are intimately familiar with and asking around about it while providing no explanation of what it is, as if everyone else already knew what they were talking about. Okay, nevermind, I see it's been defined below. Technically I experience these sorts of things with my partner, but we are already in an established relationship and are engaged, and I think these terms are intended for people that aren't already "together", so... still probably going to say no. deltaX
I've never heard these terms either. But as for the question, I might have experienced something that fits the definition of a lush. I just don't talk about it too much because for me sensual attraction isn't super important to me. And I've never experienced a smush.
Slayerin96
I do experience sensual attraction towards people I am good friends with, albeit not towards all of them. As for the smush, I've only experienced it once in my life. It started a year ago and now we've been sexual partners for several months. We've formed a beautiful friendship - he was actually the only squish I managed to become friends with! Sexual attraction has nothing to do with that, it occurred a few months later. And by the way, I feel sensually attracted to him as well :p.
Sleepy Skeleton
I lush for a bath bomb from Lush, if that fits. But no, I can't say I've ever had either of those.

There are lots of sexuals who desire and enjoy sex but have no interest in romance or relationships. That's quite common and normal.
