Lucas Leal
A few months ago I discovered about asexuality and that messed with me. I spent hours, maybe days searching and learning about asexuality and I identify as asexual since, but I've always doubted about it. I had to start to accept me and stop questioning myself, after that, i guess I stopped being so confused. Today I realized I'm calm and confident about myself, and finally happy! If you ask me how I felt 2 months ago about my sexuality, I would say that i was confused and nervous, but nowadays I don't feel like that anymore, and It's just like I've always been before, but now I have accepted my asexuality. For those who are confused with their sexuality, be calm, and don't try to figure it out so quickly, because you won't be able to do it. It takes time. I just wanted to share my experience with everyone because I feel very happy now and I hope you all feel like me someday in your lives. :)
Snao Cone
Way to go! :cake: Your experience reflects what I think is a very important lesson for people discovering this part of themselves: you don't need to have an answer right away. It's totally valid and healthy to let your feelings sink in before settling on a label. I'm really glad you feel much better about your identity now. :)

Ficulnean
Thanks for the tip; integration of change takes time, even with good things. So there's no reason to rush feel ashamed when self acceptance isn't immediate. That took me a bit to learn, but has been helpful in so many ways.
One Winged Angel
Well done in coming to terms and feeling happy with this discovery. As said above, things do not need to slide into place all at once, and it's always fine to have more questions at a later date.
