Binders FtM

I have a rather large chest, 36C, and kind of big hips. I've never bought a binder, this will be my first one. I'm only 15, I don't know about the sizing and I want a tri-top, I'm leaning more towards Gc2b. Can anyone help me with the sizing?

Hi! I suggest going to the sizing tab in gc2b's website, here. It includes the sizing chart and how to size. If you haven't already, I very strongly suggest you do your research on binders. Don't wear them for no more than 8 hours. Since it's your first one, ease in to it by doing short hours at a time and gradually reach 8 hours. Don't get a size smaller, as that can cause some serious issues. If anything either get your right size or even go a size up. They can be really tight, so it's important you get the right size and what is comfortable. Don't worry too much about not being completely flat, because nobody is completely flat, even those born male. I wish you the best. If you have anymore questions, don't hesitate to ask. :)

thank you so much, I want flat as possible but to also be comfortable. is tri-top best for that cause I've heard that they ride up and it gets uncomfortable?

The tri top is underworks, I haven't tried those. I have a really big chest too and I use GC2B's half binder. I have found that if you are overweight than the longer binders tend to roll and be annoying.

Yeah. I have the longer ones, and what I do is tuck it in my jeans and use my belt to keep it from rolling up.

GC2B is a pretty great brand, and they have a great return policy if you end up with the wrong size. There's an email address on the page SkyWorld linked to you can use to contact their team for help with sizing - they'll be able to help you better than we can. Definitely use it if you have questions. They're good people!

The rest of SkyWorld's advice was spot-on as well. Especially if you've never bound before, you might try to convince yourself that pain or shortness of breath is normal. Don't do that. Binding shouldn't hurt, and you should still be able to breathe while wearing your binder. Please be safe!

Just follow the measuring info on the website for the brand you're buying and ease yourself into it by binding for short periods and gradually lengthening it.

Hate to say it, but 36C is really only moderate for chest size. It just feels huge because you're 15.

Trust me, it rolls up no matter what weight you are. I'm pretty curvy, in that I have a small waist and wider hips, and it would always roll up to my waist to the point where I just got a pair of scissors and chopped it off about two inches below the breast compression area.

On another note, punkace, you have to remember to consider growth. My breasts hadn't finished growing when I was 15 (I was a C cup back then too, but became a D cup eventually, and when I'm on my period my breasts are a DD). If you buy a binder now, it could fit for a few years, but if you ever develop pain or shortness of breath it could also be that you're growing. So I'd recommend either buying a cheaper one that you could afford to replace as you grow, or at least rounding up for size.
