LuciferReads Posted July 23, 2016 Share Posted July 23, 2016 Hi, I'm new to the topic of being asexual, and hadn't really heard of it until the other day. My friend mentioned the term to me and I did some research, after which I realised I can relate to a lot of Aces. It's like something inside me has clicked into place. I've never been attracted to a person and don't get what people mean when they say someone is 'hot', I can tell if someone would be classified as pretty, but have never been attracted to a person. I read and enjoy reading explicit Fanfiction, it tends to make me *tingly* down there, but have never felt the need to do something with that feeling. Sex doesn't interest me and I've never felt the need to have it. When I talked to one of my friends about the possibility of being ace, she replied that she had a suspicion I could be. She noticed that I seem 'too cool for sex' (not in a bad way), I seem disinterested and not bothered by the subject. I guess I'm just looking for an opinion from other aces, on whether you would class me as asexual or not. Thanks! Quote Link to post Share on other sites

If that fits how you feel then you could be asexual. Some people also just use the label to fit who they are right now and then change it later if they feel they fit something else.
