Sexual fantasies as a child?

As a kid, having my first interactions with vague depictions of sexual intercourse as portrayed in comic books (it was always the most appealing to me due to looking more aesthetic ) or something even more vague in games, I remember short periods of time(or a period) where the fantasy of having sex with someone as another person(or just an older version of me) in another dimension was an attractive idea. Nothing beyond that, though. Especially not anything related to the reality. I was also not sure what it was exactly at the time, but maybe for a child it could be an instinct awakening ?

Yet those sort of thoughts never appeared again later, even while I had all the other typical concerns, issues and thoughts that come with puberty and my life has been attraction&desire-free.

I don't think that I've been repressing anything in me or had any mental issues that may have been obstructing the awakening of my sexuality , so what could that mean ? Could it have been just passing thoughts from simple curiosity or a real desire albeit lacking something due to my lack of knowledge regarding these matters ?

It's possible that it could've just been a practice of your imagination. I've imagined myself in sexual situations, but it doesn't translate into any desire to pursue such paths in real life.

I had no fantasies as a kid. As a teen I thought "I'll do it, when the chance arrives" but that's all. No plans beyond buy condoms + look & see. I'm pretty sure I had no plans how to sort all those limbs.

I would imagine that lots of young people (kids included) probably explore those parts of themselves and don't realize it's sexual until later on in life. It's normal to explore your body. I don't think that's a sign of anything bad, unless it becomes something that significantly impacts your life.

I always for the idea of fictional sex to be much more interesting than realistic sex and much less messy.

I still remember some of my fantasies and I think the earliest one I was 12 years old. But---there were sexual fantasies way before that, and I'd act them out with my toys. However, our idea of sex was wrong and it didn't fully translate until when i learned what it was (in 5th grade during the first phase of sex-ed). I think if sex-ed had been taught earlier, i may have fantasized about sex as it actually is.

my earliest ideas of sex were that it was an action to express love and passion. So, i liked it. I wanted my characters to experience that, but i had no idea how sex actually worked or what it looked like. With all that in mind, i definitely wanted that happiness for myself and i thought about it frequently until i reached "the age of reason". That is, when I understood it in real life and that I dont need it to feel what I thought I needed it for.

It's all good.

Had one dream once when I was around 10 about the female villain from Men in Black II.

There's something about a woman (well, alien) in leather and all black, who literally eats men, which broke through my innocence very briefly, and has since shaped certain internet searches.
