Swimming Binders and Transphobic Mother?

I've been looking around for a swimming binder to wear during the summer while swimming and I came across the Underworks Sleeveless Swim Top. If my calculations are correct and my mother didn't spend my money I should have enough. I own a regular binder but the only way I got it was through negotiating and lying. I said that I needed it for cosplaying with my friends, but I don't have an excuse to use this time. Saying I'm trans and I have top dysphoria wouldn't work because my mom doesn't accept me as a trans male and doesn't understand the importance of passing as male. She tells me to ignore my dysphoria and to accept the fact that I'm a girl. How should I ask her? Can you guys help me with an excuse as to why I want/need a swimming binder? Also if you've used this particular swimming binder, can you review it?

you could use the cosplaying excuse saying that you need to be a shirtless character that goes swimming (like one of the guys from free if you watch that)

I think you should have a serious conversation with your mother about how you should be able to spend your own money for whatever the fuck you want.

Now to the binder: I have never tried a swimming binder myself, but I've heard that these binders don't work nearly as well as normal binders. I came up with the idea to wear a swimshirt over a normal binder. I love the binders from gc2b and I know that they dry very quickly. A swimshirt (or rashguard) also looks more natural than the sleeveless swimming binder from underworks.

I don't have any useful information to help with the transphobic mother sorry. However I do have ways to get around her. :D. You can get prepaid money cards in most stores, they work just like credit cards. :).You put the money on there and you can get anything you want online, without your mother ever knowing about it. Also this is another swimming binder, which I haven't tried but I thought I would show it too you. :)

Just tell your mom you're self conscious and don't want to wear a two piece. Just throw on a shirt and some shorts. I actually saw a transgender guy at the beach the other day doing that. and I made such a fuss about not wanting to wear a bathing suit in public that my Christian Aunt bought me boys board shorts.

And some how I feel like the only small framed person who does not like female swim suits at all whatsoever ... They serve little to no purpose to me anyway, I can't swim after all. A swimming binder is something that I'm not quite familiar with so unfortunately I can't offer any helpful things to say x-x

Question to those who suggest using a normal binder with a rash guard over top: Does the normal binder shrink at all in water? I always thought swim binders were a slightly different fabric to avoid that, but I never looked it up and I honestly have no idea...

the swimming Binder I've seen recently (I think it was the underworks Binder) was made from Neopren or something similar. I tried the Binder+Rash Guard in the shower and it didn't seem to shrink or anything. I would swim in it.
