TheSMMG
Thanks for the good wishes poindexter and Amethystine! There were some good questions but it was a short piece so I didn't get the chance to expand on the diversity of our community, I'm afraid.
One Winged Angel
I have just listened to this on catch up radio. I thought it was very good and the presenters had some good questions as well as the standard fare. You are very articulate and I feel you answered very well, especially given the short running time of the program. I especially enjoyed how this show was not sensationalised, and thus felt positive in tone. With such pieces, I always like to imagine how it would sound to someone completely new to Asexuality. I feel it is important to have a calm, non sensational piece which explains things well for such people. This is important for both people new to Ace spectrum and also their friends, family and acquaintances. If a show does little but portray Asexuals as crazy, it does nothing to help anybody. Thankfully, this program was very good and I would be happy recommending it to anybody. Well done.
TheSMMG
Thanks for your feedback, One Winged Angel! I agree that non-sensationalist discussions and factual investigations of subjects are much to be preferred over "lets look at the freaks" type of coverage. The latter can still be of benefit if they inspire other journalists, producers etc. to cover the topic.
