God of the Forest
About a year ago I stumbled upon this article in the New York Times and read it while I was vacationing in Panama City and thought..huh..might as well give it a try..so I picked a person whom I thought looked nice enough and asked him if he would be willing to help me with a social experiment...this strangely enough, believe it or not, led to a 3 month relationship..which eventually buckled under the stress of long distance, but did give me a valuable connection with a human being at one point in my life. Thoughts on the article? perhaps try it on a significant other or someone you are pursuing?... I'm not saying its a magic bullet for an instant relationship.. but it is, at least for me it was, an excellent ice breaker. http://www.nytimes.com/2015/01/11/fashion/modern-love-to-fall-in-love-with-anyone-do-this.html http://www.nytimes.com/2015/01/11/fashion/no-37-big-wedding-or-small.html?_r=

Sisky
Set I: Questions I would be perfectly fine answering to any random stranger on an internet forum. No "connection" whatsoever. Set II: See Set I. Answers would possibly scare the other person away. Set III: See Set II, if they're not outright insulted by my answers. (Question 28 is incredibly cheap and I'd point that out. And if they make it past 34, I'll be honestly impressed.) Person looking into my eyes for more than a few seconds: Surefire way to make me never want to meet that person again. If we skip the eye contact part and they didn't flee before we even got there, we might become friends. Maybe. If you don't mind not meeting me in person again and several months long breaks between messages. Does any of this come even remotely close to "falling in love"? :D
