maxi106
is Princess a gender-locked title? I identify as male but I also feel like a princess, are they mutually exclusive?
tali.lynn
I know that everyone refers to Tyler Oakley as a queen and that's sort of the same thing. There's no reason you can't be a princess if you want to :)
maxi106
queen is a slang word for gay so is it really the same? but thanks for the helpful reply

PhoenixButterfly
OMG. I love To Wong Foo. It's one of my favorite movies. Oddly enough, my mom actually introduced me to that movie. We usually watch it when she notices that it's on TV. It's so sad that Patrick Swayze died so young, though. He was a great actor. It's odd that my mom likes that movie, though. When WWYD did a scenario in which a young boy wanted to dress like a princess in a toy store, my mom said she doesn't like the show because sometimes it's weird. I don't think there's anything weird about a boy in a princess dress. Kids and adults alike should be able to wear whatever they want, in my opinion.
Hobbes∞
If Mulan can become a 'prince' and defeat the Huns, I don't see why not~ Side note, how great was Mulan? ^_^
PhoenixButterfly
I love that movie, too. Did you know that the character Fa Mulan is based on the legendary figure Hua Mulan?

butterflydreams
I've been a bit sick, and Sunday is supposed to be rainy...I think I'm finally just going to watch To Wong Foo :) maxi106, I say be a princess. My mom let me wear fairy wings when I was little. And even dress up as a woman, and act like I was dropping "my kid" (my little sister) off at daycare. Good god, I think there even might be a video tape of that! It's weird how all that stuff was perfectly ok and then I grow up, realize I really am a woman and now it's the worst thing ever. I mean, Leia was a princess. She was pretty cool :)

Heart
As far as I am concerned, maxi106, you are officially a very handsome male princess. On the note of gender-swapped princesses, I love your profile picture. Here's another of my favourite Disney gender swaps ;) (They would make such a cute gay prince and princess)

I already joke that she is my Disney princess because 1) I have thigh-length blonde hair and 2) I like making puns, and RePUNzel is a fun/unexpected alternative to PUNisher. Perhaps I'll add this to my list of maybes like Zero from Mega Man and Guybrush Threepwood from Monkey Island :P
