ChillaKilla
Hello again AVEN, It has crossed my mind that among asexuals, a commonly accepted and mainstream symbol for asexuality would be an ace of spades. I was making some pride buttons, which on the front had a pride flag and on the back had the symbol and name of the identity that it represented. As I was making the aromantic flag, I looked for a symbol of aromanticism on the Internet but could find none. I thought of two potential symbols for usage. 1. Ace of clubs. It somewhat resembles a heart in shape, but unlike the ace of hearts, it is black like the ace of spades (signifying a lack of attraction), and it's distorted, almost anti-heart shape. I prefer this symbol personally. 2. A heart with a line through it diagonally, as if it is being crossed out (like a no-smoking symbol or something). The idea for this came from the demisexual symbol which is half heart, half triangle. What do you all think and which do you prefer? If one exists that I don't know of, please let me know! - Chilla EDIT: I just remembered there is the arrow symbol, but I still propose the above as additional potential symbols for aros
Lady Norgard
The ace of spades is commonly used for aromantics and hearts is used for romantics :)

Dodecahedron314
There are approximately 12049823520897340501407 versions of the aro flag flying around the Internet because some people were saying the original one (the one posted here) was semi-appropriative of Rastafarian culture and suggested their own, but then there were issues with those because some people have sensory issues with the color yellow, and then there were other ones that were a bunch of different shades of green but those look really close to the agender flag...so yeah, the flag situation is kind of a mess. Aro aces have the ace of spades, but I don't know of anything specifically for allo aros or even just aromanticism in general. Also, I've heard of a white ring on the left middle finger being used for aromanticism in the same way that asexuality has the black ring on the right middle finger, but I'm not sure how much that's caught on IRL because I've only seen it on Tumblr. I've seen the arrow in a lot of places, though.
Sisky
We're probably just unflaggable.
Asadvortrelundar
I don't know about the flag, but I'm pretty sure I've read on here that aromantics have arrows as their symbol, and a few will wear it as a ring on their left hand. I like the idea of an arrow being the aro symbol, personally.
