I identify as a feminist. Of course, there are things in various factions of the feminist movement that I disagree with. But I think feminism is really about pursuing equal rights for women and ending sexism and gender roles.

i care very much about issues women deal with like acess to birth control, unequal pay, the right to single mother, reform in representation in media and such that women struggle with. I definitely want women to be able to become empowered, respected, and given equality in the modern day and into the future. so yes, I would definitely see myself as a feminist.

p.s. The definition of feminism here that I identify with is that which can be found in the dictionary, not to any of the convoluted social perceptions or interpretations which may exist that I do not subscribe to.
