KendraPM Posted March 23, 2017 Share Posted March 23, 2017 As fun as an animal sound, I don't think we need an animal mascot. I'm looking at other orientations and I don't see one for them. Not that we have to follow what others do, but we already have cake which is more than others. If people really want an animal, I vote narwhals. I remember when I learned they were real. I was at SeaWorld and I got to see one, a real live narwhal. It was the coolest thing every, believing they were these creatures of myths and then suddenly standing face to face with one in the giant whale tank area. It was... indescribable. The best known thing about them is their favourite food (OK I can't picture bamboo cake but never mind). They're only horny for something daft like 12 hours a year. Dragons are already tied to so many things, I think that a panda would be a lot more unique. Also, as Retronaut said, they live most of their life without having sex, and they seem perfectly content with that. They're also lovable and adorable, they're rare, AND their fur is black and white, which are two of the colors in the asexual flag! I totally vote for pandas. Link to post Share on other sites
