Jea
Because I'm always confused in what to use, and you find everything and anything on the internet XD
CosineTheCat
LGBTQ+
Guest
LGBT+ mostly because I'm a lazy butt and don't want to write every single letter
allrightalready
i thought this discussion already existed i prefer QUILTBAG, easy to say and includes a lot but does not even claim to list everything but does try to be inclusive. otherwise with the long LGBT...... i go for a very long one and A is NOT ally
Vega91
Didn't answer, as I use more than one, dependent on context. If I'm writing a paragraph which will involve me saying the acronym several times, then I use the shortest possible.
Sleppy
LGBTQIA+ Unless I'm feeling lazy and I'll just say LGBT+ community
Amimere
LGBTQIA+
Lady Norgard
GSM, a term used by my uni, stands for Gender and Sexual Minorities. It is now my favorite term because its so inclusive and doesn't leave anyone out.
CheekyStoat
I use GSRM (Gender, Sexual, and Romantic Minorities) because I also feel like it's inclusive. XD LGBTQQIPAA (etc) is just too long and I feel like it's too specific so letters keep needing to be added.
Archon
Personally, I strongly prefer using the term 'queer' to using acronyms. If I have to use an acronym, I use LGBTQ+.

SkyWorld
Another one that says LGBTQIA+
Sleepy Skeleton
I say LGBTA+, because I like to throw the little A in there for people like me. But when I'm talking to people who are knowledgeable about the LGBT+ community, I use MOGAI or GSRM.
Skycaptain
It depends on the context of the discussion. Sometimes LGBT is keeping it simple, othertimes LGBTIQA+ if wanting to be as inclusive as possible. Personally I just wish we could have a simple term rather than ever increasing amounts of alphabet soup
Pengwyn
I like LGBT+. I find other options to be too long, and LGBT is the most recognised term, with the + for includivity. I also like GSRM, but it doesn't have the awareness that LGBT+ has, so can be cause for confusion.
Guest
I use LGBT+. Spares me the trouble of adding more letters :P
Guest_49836
I'm realizing how rarely I reference "the community".my favorite so far was QUILTBAGI forgot what each letter stands for, but it sounded charming enough to be the rag-tag bunch of allies we are. We keep adding patches and pictures the more we learn about ourselves.
divided_sky
I don't even know what it means anymore, so let that show just how useful it is to someone who is active here. You can't include everybody. It doesn't mean anything if it includes everybody. It barely means anything now, it certainly doesn't to me. You've watered it down too much! It can't hold any more water!! ah!!!! Let's just add those plain ole boring heterosexuals already and get this over with. We're all in the club now! But oh wait, this club feels oddly familiar... mustardblood
I usually just day lgbtq+
InDarknesseVisible
I like the term MOGAI (Marginalised Orientations, Gender identities, And Intersex)
deltaX
My favorite acronym is GSRM (Gender, Sexual, and Romantic Minorities), but since most people don't know that, I usually use LGBTQ+ (or occasionally LGBTQIA+).
Larkaloke
Usually LGBT+, because I grew up seeing it as LGBT and that's what tends to pop into my mind first. I stick the + on to cover anything else. I like seeing it with the added A, but don't usually even actually put it in myself (not that I actually refer to the community in that way particularly often). I like GSRM, seems to cover everything and all, but since I've never actually seen it used in person I tend to assume that it's rarely used.
Sisky
Usually LGBT+, voted for something else though because I strongly prefer LOL (Lots Of Letters) when I can get away with it :P
wednesdaywoe
I don't often use it at all, to be honest, but I'd rather use whatever most people find the most inclusive, so I think I would usually go for LGBTQIA+. I've learnt a few new ones in this thread, though! Also not sure if this is the right place, but I've seen some people write them in different orders, e.g. GLBT - is there a reason for that? Personal preference? Or they just want their own identity first in the line of letters?
SecEagle
I have to use LGBT to talk to people, but when I can I always prefer GSRM since it basically includes anyone who isnt heterosexual AND heteroromantic AND cisgender. Basically anyone who is, and I dont like saying that, "queer" or "different".
Lost247365
I was in an argument the other day and someone linked something in which they claimed was the most inclusive....of course it had A as ally. <_< SO I decided to be as absurd as possible and came up with:LGBTTQQI2SAAAPPPLesbian, gay, bisexual, Transgender, transsexual, queer, questioning, intersex, 2spirit, Asexual, Aromantic, Agender, Polyamerous, Pansexual and polysexual.Personally I think it should be LGBTQ+ or GM (Gender Minorities).
Kappamaki
I usually go for LGBTQIA or LGBTQIA+, but I'm familiar with MOGAI, GSRM, and QUILTBAG and will accept LGBT and count the QIA+ as assumed. I also consider the word "queer" to be a synonym for LGBTQIA+ when I'd rather use a reclaimed slur than an acronym. Sometimes, when I'm making a point about the queer community, I'll say something like AAATTINBPBQLG. (The point being that I'm annoyed with homonormativity or focusing on cisgender gay voices to the exclusion of other groups.)
Zorc
I tend to like using MOGAI these days... It's just easier because it's both short and inclusive.
