Madrat16
I am not Asexual or Aromantic, however, I want to introduce an Asexual/Aromantic character in a Star Trek roleplay. How to do present a such character without offending real life Asexual/Aromantic persons?
Elluna Hellen
Hello! :D Well, asking is a great start! :) Don't make them come across as completely emotionless. Don't make them come across as immature or 'not ready for such things'. And whatever you do, don't let them get a love interest after all :P Also, don't let this define all they are. It's one character trait, not their entire personality! :)
Archon
Hey, welcome to AVEN! Elluna Hellen gave some great advice. I agree with everything she said. Also, I'm a big trekkie so if you have any questions for an aro ace who is familiar with the Star Trek universe, feel free to ask. :)
Madrat16
I was thinking of a Betazoid with a worse-than-Luxwana-Troi mother. Jlaw as a faceclaim is a possibility.
Anthracite_Impreza
Just make them the same as everyone else, just without an interest in sex or romance. I mean, that is literally the only difference!
