Mr Robot
Hello, my name is Gabe (not my real name). I am for sure panromantic. I am still confused about sexuality, though I am most likely Demisexual. I am also confused about my gender. I have been going by genderfluid, but upon researching more about gender, I have started questioning it. I have come upon the terms "Demiflux" and "Demifluid" I was beginning to think I may be one of those. When I fluctuate between being female, male, both, or neither, I still feel a small tiny bit of male inside. (I was born as a female. I am not out to anyone about anything, yet) I was thinking I was a Demiboy. But I feel a small part Boy, sometimes the rest is female, sometimes I feel like both. It may not make sense, but sometimes half of me is boy, the other half is boy and girl? I am unsure and new to these terms, so I'm not sure what I am. Can a genderfluid person be demiboy and genderqueer/genderfluid at the same time? Can genderfluid fluctuate between demiboy, demifluid, demiflux, demigirl, and all?
Otohime
Just based on what you are saying, it sounds like "Demiflux" might be what you are looking for. "Demiboy" being the static gender. You might be demifluid if your static gender is male. (As I understand it, the difference between demifluid and demiflux is that with demiflux one of the genders is neutral). You can't exactly be gender fluid, demifluid, and demiflux all at the same time. Sort of, perhaps... you could shift between those. For example, let's say you identity as demifluid with your static gender being male. But then, maybe at some point, you no longer identity as static male. Say your static gender is genderqueer, so then you are demiflux. But maybe a some point, you don't feel any static gender at all, then you are genderfluid. Perhaps you would look back and say you were always genderfluid, but you were temporarily demifluid/demiflux (I don't know if "temporarily demifluid" is considered a real description. I guess my point is if you are fluid, you might also be fluctuate between how static you feel towards one gender or another). Also, I said "you" in the above paragraph, but I have no idea if that describes you you or not. It was a generic you.Sounds like you may identify somewhere in the fluid gender, but keep reading the different definitions and see where you identity best..
Ace_Kat
I don't think you can be all of those identities at the same time, but you can switch between one or the other, depending how you feel currently. It can be difficult to explain how you present yourself, whether you feel this or that. But those identities you said can explain how a person feels. So like I said, you can switch between the identities you listed, depending on how you feel right now. If you feel like you are genderfluid, use that. The next day you feel like a demiboy, use that. Use an identity that you feel happy and comfortable with in the present.
