Legolas
EUROTOPHOBIA: (Kolopophobia, Eurotophobia, and Fear of Female Genitalia) 1: eurotophobia: a persistent, abnormal, and irrational fear of genitals, particularly female that compels avoidance, despite the understanding by the phobic individual and reassurance by others that there is no danger. 2: eurotophobia: a strong fear of, dislike of, or aversion to genitals, particularly female. I found this term on the off topic message boards and looked it up. Sometimes it is spelled as EROTOPHOBIA sometimes EUROTOPHOBIA. Apparently it is an actual phobia. Bullshit? Discuss. Zorui
I am disgusted by all genitalita. Fear, not really. Wait, on second thought, yeah.
Legolas
phobia does not necesarily reffer to FEAR it can mean repulsivness. For example most homophobe ppl are not AFRIAD of gay guys. They just find it wrong or disgusting and fear has nothign to do with it. Alex
Gorax
Genitals smell and are full of germs. It's like putting your hand in the litter box. I don't necessairly fear the litter box, but I don't find it very . . . fun. There is a phobia for everything. I bet there is an internetphobia (hehe mom may have it) and a cucumberphobia, and a schoolphobia, workphobia . . .

JimDandy
It is indeed a real clinical phobia. An anxiety disorder, to be specific. But it doesn't really describe anyone I've ever met. (Well, that I know of.)

ogbg
And it's one that I'm NOT going to attempt to get over :P Spiders and heights are one thing, but you don't have to get used to seeing genitals if you don't want to. Nice shirt, Pie  (makes up an erotophobia song to the tune of "A pizza hut") A-sex-u-als!! A-sex-u-als!! We're erotophobic asexuals!! A-sex-u-als!! A-sex-u-als!! Zorui
*starts singing oogie's song* I was once tricked into seeing porn. I pulled the plug on my computer and ran to the bathroom, where I spent the next few minutes feeling like I was about to throw up. And I have no intention of getting over this. It doesn't matter, as I have taken measures to insure that I never see porn again, and I would kill anyone who showed me their genitals brutally. Just a random example of my genital hatred: WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF PIE SAW HIS PARENTS HAVING SEX! ILikePie sets up an elaborate scheme that ends in his parents being stuck in a warehouse in NYC with a big TV screen on the wall. He then appears on it, and.. "Hello mother, father. While it pains me to do this, after seeing you two have intercourse, I have determined that it must NEVER happen again. So take you pick -- Death, or castration." Credit to 0niTTRay for the above plan.
Molly_Black
My Boyfriend I think has this Phobia. Its starting to cause problems in our relationship. He doesn’t show fear exactly but he doesn’t want to have sex and when we do he closes his eyes and I have to do all the stimulating. He doesn’t like his genitals touched either. Its horrible for me because I love him. He is a great guy he’s very sweet and treats me like gold. However, to give you an idea of the problem here is a little glimps into my life. Im not grossly overweight nor am I unclean I am an attractive female 30 years old and have no problems attracting men. However the guy I’m in love with thinks I’m overweight, unclean, gross and wont touch nor look at my genitals. Remember this is only during intercourse does any of this come up. Otherwise if we simply don’t have sex then he’s very sweet normal and great. It’s just so odd. He swears up and down it’s not fear but I think it is. Help me… I have never encountered this before and I don’t know where to turn. Any ideas? Is this a phobia or is this something else? And could this be associated with any other disorders like schizophrenia?
Mandarr
I must have this, the 'fadge' is disgusting. It looks like it was the work of an axe wielding maniac, plus its hairy and it smells... And has so many germs on it I just made myself sick
Jazmin
I dislike genitals full stop. Female and male. It's not fear, it's more disgust or a general dislike/distaste for them. That said, I'm indifferent to genitals as long as I don't have to see them or don't have anything to do with them - sexually, I mean. But it's not really an issue or phobia. I don't go around screaming "I hate genitals!" all day. Just...don't get me involved with them, please.
Preskom
well, even sexuals admit it: genitals are ugly. I presonally don't think I have that phobia.. it's disgusting but I don't really mind other's genitals, I could easily touch female genitals, if I had to, without fear. But I really tought about having a phobia for MINE only... but I figured not long ago that I was "afraid" of my genitals because they feel "wrong"...it's not a fear, they're just not right in my mind...I basicly forget I have that "hole" until it itches or I get my period...and then I freak out because that part of my body is alien to me. Sorry I'm not really pertinent for the topic, but I had to say it. (2weeks old revelation I haven't talked about yet) That felt good, for me.

AVENCakes
Have you not seen the phobia list? There's phobias for about everything. However, I disagree that it's impossibel to be a phobia. I don't like genitals, but I'm not afraid of them- doesn't mean that someone can't have such a deep fear as to be a phobia. It doesn't have to make sense- I'm an arachnophobe even though I'm quite fond of spiders and would love them if I could be int he same room as them- some people are just deathly afraid of things. Doesn't erotophobia mean a phobia about sex in general?eros(=love/making love)+phobia(=fear)=erotophobia Erotophobia- Fear of sexual love or sexual questions. Eurotophobia- Fear of female genitalia. Des
Gymnophobia is fear of nudity. I imagine eurotophobia is a subset of that. I don't think it's bullshit. People can develop phobias of all kinds of weird things. There's actually a phobia (I can't remember what it's called) for fear of the color yellow.

Des
I guess I have Eurotophoria. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that means a non-sexual feeling of pleasure or fascination associated with the object. Xenophobia - Fear of foreigners Xenophilia - Sexual attraction to foreigners Xenophoria - Fascination with foreigners. Those are the three I learned in college, so I thought the suffixes might apply to anything.
psyote
I don't fear them, but am somewhat disgusted. The first time I watched porn my reaction was literally, "I'm supposed to stick it in THAT?"
