Am somewhat confuse about masturbate.

These about masturbating.

I identified myself as an asexual after I find at there a name of what sexuality I am.

What where am confuse about masturbate.

I do masturbate sometimes.

But I don't have no sexual arousal from the action of it.

I use to get arousal from porn. But I feel nothing from porn anymore. Now.

I this need some feel back about it.

Masturbation is not to do with sexual attraction. It has no connection with, and involves no attraction to, one specific other person. Someone can become aroused by porn, erotica etc, masturbate frequently, and fantasise when they do so, but still be asexual, because none of that involves sexual attraction. Getting aroused by porn for asexual people is probably to do with getting turned on by the act itself, and imagining what it might feel like, rather than because they are sexually attracted to the people in the video.

Basically, masturbating does not make you any less asexual. Neither does having sex, for that matter. The only thing which could mean you're not asexual is if you experience sexual attraction (although you could still be on the asexual spectrum). It's as simple as that.

I posted this in another thread before, taken from a sex researcher's study on 534 asexuals:

"More than half (56%) of asexual participants reported that they masturbate at least monthly, compared to 82% of sexual participants. Thus, asexuals are certainly less likely to masturbate overall, but it still appears to be a relatively common practice among them. Likewise, 60% of asexuals reported having had sexual fantasies before, compared to 98% of sexual participants. Again, while asexuals are certainly less likely to have sexual fantasies, it is not uncommon for asexuals to report them. It is also worth noting that most asexuals who fantasized said that other people appeared in their fantasies—just 11% of asexuals reported that their fantasies did not involve anyone else (compared to 0.5% of sexual participants who said the same thing).

In total, 20% of the asexual sample reported no masturbation or sexual fantasies, 19% masturbated but did not have fantasies, 11% had fantasies but did not masturbate, and 50% both masturbated and had fantasies.

These findings reveal that masturbation and sexual fantasy are indeed less common among asexuals than they are among sexuals; however, it appears that a sizeable percentage of asexuals still masturbate, have sexual fantasies, or both."
