I think that probably was one of the first shows that actually made me cry. I loved it.

Toddler: Blue's Clues. Clearly not of interest to me anymore, but I'll be damned if I won't have my future kids watch it.

Little kid: Many shows, but off the top od my head, Pokémon and DBZ. I haven't liked the former since the 3rd generation and I don't go back and watch it often, but DBZ I certainly still like, though likely just for nostalgia.

Preteen+: Avatar: the Last Airbender. One of the greatest cartoons ever made. Still awesome to this day and I ate up Legend of Korra (still need to watch the last season, though!).

Darkwing Duck.

It's a like a bar of pure awesome slammed in a cannon and shot to the moon. I can remember watching it every day until it didn't air it anymore. Later I basically rediscovered all my childhood series and Darkwing was one of those where just everything matched perfectly: humour, story, characters, execution (mostly) and stylization. But I've always loved mindboggingly contrasted characters, so it's no wonder that this sort of goofy but capable super hero universe still fascinates me. Oh and Ironbeak is totally ace (Is that a pun?).

I also loved the Gummibears and Ducktales but Darkwing Duck will always have a very special place in my heart.

Darkwing Duck-- I loved that show and, despite, sadly, not having seen it in years-- would consider it one of my absolute favorite shows of all time. Well said!

I did see the 2 -part Justice Ducks episode not too many years back, so I can say that that episode, at the very least, held up really well.

I also liked Ninja Turtles, Bonkers, etc.

I loved the original Sonic the Hedgehog cartoon when I was a kid. I saw a dvd boxset in the shop a couple of years ago, so of course I had to buy it for the sheer novelty and to reminisce. There were loads of episodes I hadn't seen, plus many I could remember. I still love it now. Tails is still my fave. The only problem I have with it is comparing it to the games, and also to the more recent versions (e.g. Sonic X--Sonic was never that grumpy and would never leave Tails behind under any circumstance). I suppose the other problem is that in the original series Tails was meant to be four years old (excellent language skills for a four year old, though he can't write, apparently).

Would Digimon count? I was 15 when it came out... and I still have a strong fondness for it (and yes, I have that on dvd as well, though they're not official and something someone made, but it's the closest I could get since the UK thought only providing the first 8 episodes or so on dvd and not the rest of the series was a good idea, apparently). Fave character? Was and always will be Tai. I don't know why. I just gravitated to him. Must be the goggles. XD Digimon Tri is due out this year using the original cast (Tai included, obviously). I confess, I squealed in delight. It's like my childhood coming back. Gotta watch it. :)

I also had an addiction to Reboot for a while... don't think that has the same fondness for me. Bob was always my favourite, but I can't remember why. I think the 'sequel' series ruined it for me. The first series ended on a sad note, and the second series didn't add much hope, so I lost interest.

I love Digimon!! :''') I am so excited for the new series!! And I had a childhood crush on Matt. Or I identified with him. I still love him. And Izzy, Gabumon, TK and Sora. And Kari... I just love them all xD

I had a childhood crush on Tai, and I still adore him now. I'm so looking forward to Tri!

I used to love Yu Gi Oh! I have tried re watching it, but they don't have it on netflix here and the only version I found had a lot of problems playing.

My fave was always the Flintstones. In fact, this was the only cartoon where I drew some of the characters when I was 5 or 6 years old. I remember my parents and grandparents being astonished by how well I was able to draw them at that young age. I remember trying to get home from school in time to watch the Flintstones when I was in elementary school. Second would probably be Scooby Do. I also liked the Road Runner and Woody Woodpecker, and the ones with Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd. And there were others that I watched, like Porky Pig and one that I think was called Superfriends, which was about all the "classic" super heroes teemed up - Batman & Robin, Superman, Wonderwoman, Aqua man, etc

As an adult I liked the Simpsons (the first ten or so years were great, after that the show went down and got stale, IMO) and Futurama (only watched the first 4 years or so), and I still like the Peanuts and I still watch all of the seasonal episodes - Christmas, Thanksgiving, Valentine's Day, New Year's, etc.

Yes, yes it was. Slightly twisted in certain areas but I like cartoons with a bit of black humor mixed in :P.

Other cartoons that I love are Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends, Adventure Time and Gravity Falls.

For cartoons I like now, that I didn't see as a child Adventure Time is a top runner. I have a very specific favourite episode, favourite moment etc. etc.

How many of these do you guys recognize:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=321&v=XSMnEq5aPDE

I recognize over half of them, but there were only like three that I actually watched as a kid. (Pinky and the Brain, Ducktales, and Pokemon.)

Ooh, OOH. I love Sonic Underground. It is subpar in plot, animation, music, yeah, plus it was never finished...but I still loved it so much. Not as a kid, though. I was like 18 when I discovered and watched it.

Digimon (Sora), Arthur (Arthur), Magic School Bus (Phoebe), Scooby Doo (Daphne & Velma), and when I was older Yu-Gi-Oh (Yami). I didn’t have cable when I was a kid, so a lot of options weren’t available to me.

I still watch and enjoy cartoons. My favourite currently running shows are Gravity Falls, Regular Show, My little Pony, Steven Universe, South Park, and Star Vs. The Forces Of Evil. (New episodes of Gravity Falls and Steven Universe today! Whoo!)
I'm not that old so my favourite shows to watch when I was younger were: Grim & Evil, American Dragon, Xiaolin Showdown, Animaniacs, Top Cat, Rocko's Modern Life, Ren and Stimpy, Aaahh!!! Real Monsters, Scooby Doo, Pokémon, Courage the Cowardly Dog, and South Park. All of which are still shows I enjoy today. I watched way too much TV when I was younger. (Still not sure why my parents let me watch South Park but I'm glad they did.)

As for spin offs:

I've watched every series of Scooby Doo starting with the original. The only one I don't like is the current one but it's still watchable. What's New, Scooby Doo? Was my favourite series.

I never watched My Little Pony as a kid so I started with the current generation, Friendship is Magic, which is my favourite but I have now watched some of the older stuff and I enjoy that too. Especially the first generation movies.

Xiaolin Showdown, I hate the reboot. The designs are weird, and the new character is just a clone of Omi.

I actually prefer Pokémon spin offs to the main series. Chronicles and Origins being my favourites.

The Terrible Travis

My great cartoon loves as a kid were Scooby Doo (any series, but especially 1969), and the Powerpuff Girls. Later on, Clifford the Big Red Dog.

Really, anything with dogs in it got my immediate attention.

These days, I don't find Scooby Doo nearly as interesting. Powerpuff Girls I may actually want to rewatch sometime.

At 16 I (re)discovered Alvin and the Chipmunks, the '60s cartoon, the '80s cartoon, and the couple cartoon movies from the late 90's/early 2000's. I saw the live action, too, but was a far bigger fan of the cartoon.

I spent a couple years big into the fandom. Like, huge. Now, I still like it, but I'm not big on it. There's a new tv series now, I need to check it out sometime.

These days I'm mostly into anime. I wasn't allowed to watch it as a kid, so I discovered it late.

Did someone say Alvin and the Chipmunks?! I absolutely adore Alvin and the Chipmunks! I'm been a big fan of them ever since I first the live action movie in 2007. I'm so glad I rediscovered them in October. As for the new TV series, I've seen all the episodes and it's amazing! Really cool to see the chipmunks back on television! Also super pumped for Road Chip! ;)

Spider-Man: The Animated Series

Despite all the censorship and content restrictions John Semper and his crew had to work under, they still managed to produce what I feel is the definitive version of Spider-Man, taking the very best of everything that had come before and boiling it down to its purest essence. It still holds up extremely well and to this day it is THE Spider-Man adaptation to which I compare all others.

Fraggle Rock

Not technically a cartoon as it was a Muppet series, but many people, including Jim Henson himself, saw it as his magnum opus and for good reason. No other Muppet series since has ever been as good (not that they haven't tried) and its influence can still be felt today. A large part of the reason why I'm so into My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic is because it reminds me a lot of Fraggle Rock with its excellent sense of world-building, well defined character dynamics, awesome music and important life lessons that are applicable to any age group, not just kids.

Knight of Cydonia

Pokemon was a big one for me when I was growing up, and I was crazy over it - I had Pokemon T-shirts, figurines, cards, etc. I'd love to rewatch it one of these days. I also liked Yugioh (and played the card game pretty seriously - still do sometimes!), Digimon, and Cardcaptor Sakura.

And of course Spongebob Squarepants!

When I was little I had an allowance of 30 minutes of TV/computer time a day, so it was kinda hard to stay on top of shows... I could only ever watch bits and pieces now and then, but in general those are the ones I remember liking a lot.

What cartoon do I still like? I dunno... xD

Danny Phantom still holds up. Characters are admittedly a little flat but the story, concept and characters are still awesome! My favourite character is Jazz. Probably the only thing I hate is the last episode, Phantom Planet, but that's because it was rushed and just generally sucked. My favourite episode would be either My Brother's Keeper or The Ultimate Enemy xD

Hey Arnold was awesome. Loved it for its morals and strong emotional realism. Plus the fact the kids were voiced by kids really helped a lot.
