For the last year and a half (since i've been on anti depressants and able to feel things again) i've been trying to understand me and relationships, ect. i've dated a few girls and even though i enjoyed the emotional closeness and intimacy, i couldn't understand why i wasn't attracted to them in the same way. The more i thought about it the more i realized that i'd never felt that way about someone, i thought there must be something wrong with me and considered seeing a shrink. And then one day i came across the (A)sexual documentary online and out of curiosity watched it. It was like someone had switched on a light suddenly i knew i was not broken or alone that there were others out there like me, i read through everything i could and the more i read the more i knew that the word i'd been looking for to describe me was Asexual!. So many aces think that they're broken before they discover asexuality, but it turns out asexuality is totally normal.
