Why I won't date someone with kids

I'm not interested in having kids and I'm married so this thread doesn't really apply to me.

That said, I think many people who are parent's could be decent partners. It's all about the right person though. Already having kids means they have separate responsibilities that should come before your relationship and I can see why lots of people wouldn't want that. Not all parents can be killjoys though. I've seen some people become more kid-like and fun to be around after having and interacting with kids (in a good way).

I think anyone that would treat their partner as if they're a kid getting into trouble is not really all that fun (unless it's playful or not on too regular a basis and thus just cautious). I can actually see myself accidental-parenting my partner sometimes and it's not all that flattering or reasonable to do.
