Rising Sun
I didn't really came out, as the only people who know are my last partner, a friend who knew by accident, and another friend who knew because we're talking about a lot of intellectual things, including relationships and I told her about AVEN and types of attraction. I don't intend to tell anyone else. And apart from my last partner, I didn't "come out" to any straight people.
Grumpy Alien
I'm only really out online... Only the closest people in my life (3 friends and my mom) know. I'm not open about it at work, for example. I just don't see how it's relevant nor do I think they'd understand. It's just easier to not bring it up and evade questions. cuzicouldyay
I put I haven't yet... I've sort of tried leading up to it to a few folks? Like I'm jokingly open about it to folks I'm not all that close to. My mom thinks I'm having a phase and I'll figure it out eventually. My best friend made a biology joke when I told her, so... I have no idea what to do there. And my dad hasn't said anything either way, but I pretty much openly tell him everything so I think he's pretty cool with it. He knows more about who I've made out with over the years than he almost certainly wants to. Some family might suspect, but I've never discussed it with most of them. Bluh. deltaX
I came out to a few of my friends, the summer before my 20th birthday. There are a few other people I want to be out to eventually, but I doubt will ever be out to everyone I know, no matter how old I get. Coming out is different for everyone, and I think you should only feel obligated to come out if you personally want to.
Larien
This poll is being locked and moved to the read-only Census Archive for 2014. As part of ongoing Census Forum organization, and in an attempt to keep the demographics of the polls current with the active user base at the time, each poll will last for one year. However, members are allowed and even encouraged to restart new polls similar to the archived ones if they like them.Census Moderator
