Sometimes have pangs of conscience

Recommended Posts

Eh, it's connected with my crushes. Sometimes the people I find very attractive are just Catholic priests/bishops of XVI/XVII c. When I see an attractive one I think like this ' Oh, how hot was he!' and my imagination and just starts to work and libido goes higher. I use to blame myself in case of this because I'm Catholic and wanting someone who was hierarch doesn't look good. I feel very dirty and a kinda sinful as I know those people were celibate and refused sexual life. After having such hot things I feel very bad and it makes me sad. I use to escape from this but it's so hard.

You know, I just started to struggle with this recently... I seem to admire leadership, and it's getting me going lately. Sort of a new thing I started to realize.

I think you just admire a higher rank, where I, myself, see myself to work harder when in the presence of head-strong individuals. While I'm not one to follow a leader blindly, it seems to be like a form of a pack mentality. Perhaps akin to seeking the alpha of the group, and yearning for them.

Due to society, it's implied that this is wrong, and deviant. So therefore having such attractions is shamed by the community you're in.

There's nothing wrong with these feelings, it is just how society views it. Same thing I noticed with polygamy... while polygamy itself is just having multiple partners, society views it in negative ways, especially since cults abuse this by marrying multiple young girls, and doing horrible things.

I'm hoping to break those walls myself, but to go about it is a long way. I personally like to be open about it. Where I do get some shocked faces and reactions, when I explain the logic, they begin to see why it's not a bad thing. Even my criminology teacher assumed it was bad until I explained it, then he started to realize how it was just society viewing it as deviant.

We're still under the scope of being at a point where our community is still viewed as unusual, because we are a minority. Culture conflict.

No, I'm not a person following any leader, I'm very independent. I think sometimes too much. Yes there are stories about priests who left for their partners or just those who have hidden lovers. I also think celibate shouldn't be mandatory and if the priest wants to run a family, let him do it but it's much different category.

I wouldn't feel too bad; I mean, it's not a part of you under your control. I don't think that every sexual person, the majority of the population mind you, feel bad about being who they are.
