CrowWakes
well to help understand asexuality I will give an example from my own life. I love my partner and she loves me. we have a understanding that I don't have a sex drive and wish nothing to do with sex. It doesn't mean I don't love her. I would give my life for he,r the only thing that differs in our relationship is we don't have sex, or sexual contact of any kind. Now we do compromise which there is no need to go into, compromise is up to the couple. The main thing is his or her feelings for you were there in a separate way. They were there most likely in the form of your personality (the qualities you posses that make you.. well you). I hope I was able to help you understand asexuality, if not you may be able to find better help in the for sexual partners thread which can be found at this link: http://www.asexuality.org/en/forum/30-for-sexual-partners-friends-and-allies/ the asexual Q&A which can be found at this link: http://www.asexuality.org/en/forum/5-asexual-qa/
