I am not an frequent personality test taker, but I have found that nothing seems to be as accurate for a myriad of people as the Jung typology test and the Myers-Briggs (MBTI) personalities. Anyhow, I didn't see a poll for these on here, and I figured I'd add one. I'm always curious to discover other's Myers-Briggs types.

I am an INFP myself, and I find that I never meet any other INFPs, or so it would seem.

If you haven't taken the test, there are dozens online, so just put "Jung typology test" into Google, and click away. A couple good websites I have found for in depth descriptions are http://typelogic.com .and http://www.truity.com/view/types

Cheers!

I'm INFP too! High five! I've done the test several times and I always get this result. It seems to fit me perfectly.

Got INTJ every single time including the one we did in high school.

When I just did the test I got ISFP, but earlier I got INTP, and INTP fits me way better, except that I am not thát logical, I do daydream A LOT.

I'm a full-on INFP. I've taken many different tests, and I always get INFP.

I've been given about 4 or 5 different MB personality things. I don't particularly trust it

EDIT: I've just found the results to one of them. ISTP.

ESFP here ^_^ I feel it suits me pretty well, though when I was younger I was more introverted.

EDIT: Just realised I'm the only E so far

I am ISTJ but don't agree with all of it. For instance, I hate tradition and couldn't give a stuff about social duty or respect for authority.

I'm not sure if this is just a complete coincidence, but INFJ seems to often be one of the most common personality types to come up in personality-type threads on AVEN. The reason this stands out to me is because INFJ is meant to be the worlds rarest personality type (experienced by less that 1% of the population to about 3% of the population depending on what you read) ..I wonder if for some reason is it just a lot more common for asexuals to be INFJ than other people? Or like I said, maybe it's just a complete coincidence that it's often one of the more common personality-types reported on AVEN.. hmmm.

http://www.annholm.net/2009/08/the-mysterious-infj/

http://www.infj.com/INFJ_Statistics.htm Then you get this person who seems to think the whole rarity of INFJ's is a total load of bullshit haha so again, always depends on what one reads :P This person does however seem to have the same complex about INFJ's that some sexual people *coughTumblrcough* have about asexuals: ''Asexuals are just people trying to be special, the are attached to the illusion of trying to be unique.. lots of people aren't that interested in sex, you're not special!'' *sigh* lol

http://www.forbes.com/sites/toddessig/2014/09/29/the-mysterious-popularity-of-the-meaningless-myers-briggs-mbti/ there are a LOT of articles like this one online, saying how meaningless the MBTI tests are. However I notice that many people, when they do a little research into their results, feel that the personality outline of the type indicated in their results sounds a lot like them, and fits them really well... so meh. I think it's just one of those things where if it works for you, awesome.. and if it doesn't work for you, just move on :P

I got INTJ, ISTP, INFJ, and INTP all from different sites. Averaging that gives me INTJ, but it's confusing to see different results.

The second link didn't know what to make of me. XD Can't say that's happened in a while. It gave me IXTX... I'm an INTP.

I personally think the best of the Myers-Briggs tests online it the one on mypersonality.info because it's longer, not simply a yes/no, and free. :)

I'm an ISTJ, and it fits in most ways but not in some. I'm quite happy to break a tradition if I think the tradition's causing more trouble than it's worth for a start :3

Even though I get S every time, I only just get S, so in some ways I find INTJ can work for me too.

I got INTJ and have gotten that before. It's almost disturbingly accurate... except for the bit about being able to interpret facial expressions and tone of voice, because I definitely suck at that.

I've also gotten ISTJ before, but that's not as familiar.

It's the internet - sitting in darkened rooms staring at computer screens is more of an introvert thing, so it skews the results. I guess it could have something to do with being ace, but it's worth taking into consideration other reasons for the discrepancy.

INTJ here! ;D

"Personal relationships, particularly romantic ones, can be the INTJ's Achilles heel."

"...they tend to have little patience and less understanding of such things as small talk and flirtation."

I should have known lol. I didn't read what it meant years ago.

****

I took another test at 16personalities.com (very specific and detailed descriptions) and got INTP instead. Well, considering only one letter has changed, I don't feel too confused. It still says things like:

"...the INTP personality type would much rather make a series of logical suggestions for how to resolve the underlying issue... [which] will likely extend to most social conventions and goals as well, like planning dinners and getting married."

Oh lol much.
