What's Metrosexual?

A straight guy(usually) who takes great care to his appearance, even going as far as going to nail salons and spa's(traditionally female geared places) for beauty care.

Metrosexual isn't even a sexuality... The person is heterosexual and they just par-take in activities that are usually deemed gay. Even though they look queer on the outside, they're really not, so...

Even as a pretty much a grey-romantic asexual, I don't really consider myself to be queer? Queer is a slur term that was given to gay people. Even though it's kinda defined as "anything other than straight" it's pretty much been assumed that "anything other than straight" is gay, or somewhere on the gay spectrum.

If you are a homo-romantic asexual, then I think it would be ok to call yourself queer.

Heteroflexible? I think you could identify as queer sometimes... I think on the kinsey scale you would rate somewhere between 1 and 4. Maybe you can say "I'm a lil queer ;) "

I don't know very much about cischet/transexual identities... or androgyny.

Well, if it's only about the looks and not the actual gender identity, I'd say no - they're not queer. But it's really hard to tell, there's no way of knowing if a person feels both male and female unless they tell you so.

As for the others: Not so sure, I don't even know most of the terms you mentioned. Metrosexual people = not queer.

I don't thinks Metrosexual can be included since its basically just a term to describe heterosexuals who "act gay". Its kind of an offensive term to begin with.

I think the metro part relates to a certain kind of man that is from the city(metropolitan area) that is high maintenance.

These people are probably not likely to identify themselves as queer as an adjective. However, they do abide by another use of the word 'queer'. "To queer" as a verb means to subvert something, particularly to subvert heteronormativity, and one does not have to be queer in order to do that. Heterosexual does not mean heteronormative.

Makes sense.

My friend is homoromantic and heterosexual. They identify as gay to ppl outside the LGBT+, but identify as queer to inside LGBT+.

Interesting.

An argument could be made for applying the term "queer" to a heteroflexible person. I don't think so for the others though (assuming they are heteroromantic.)

I'm like a 1.5-2 on the Kinsey scale. Not enough to be bi but not exactly straight either. It's a very frustrating middle ground. I have no idea about my romantic orientation basically. But as an ace I don't feel comfortable calling myself queer, or other people.

Pretty sure they're not, no. I mean maybe heteroflexible (I guess that's what I am actually) but I personally wouldn't use it, mostly because being heterosexual means you are more or less on the heterosexual side and have all the priveleges that come with that, so you don't really have the right I think.

Nah, I don't think that most of those could be called queer (and I just don't know what the other ones are).
