I have a question.....

Recommended Posts

So, I was kinda thinking, I have stuff I'd like to ask. But on the other hand it seems to me as a waste of time making for each a new topic. Perhaps it's me, but I ask myself why should I make a new topic when it's not so important, usually just small stuff. Again, it may be just me, but it seems to me like I would be waisting space with my silly questions. And so I thought I'd make one topic. One topic for all my small stuff. But then here's thought. Why not make it small of us all? I mean, just small stuff. Many have big questions, and that needs to be more discussed. But small question about some part of asexuality. Does that sound possible, or am I just weird again? Please tell me what you think.

In the mean time I will post one thing I don't get. What's the stuff around Ace of hearts and Ace of spades? I don't get what is this about.

As far as my understanding goes, ace of hearts represents romantic asexuals, and ace of spades aromantic asexuals (it looks like a heart upside- down). Aces of diamond and clovers (clubs) don't seem to have any specific meaning

The answer to your question lies, here.

I think having a "random asexuality questions that don't need their own thread" thread would be an interesting idea. The drawbacks of having a long thread with multiple questions in it, however, would be mostly in search options available.

Members would have to read through it all in order to find out if the question they have has already been asked. Separate threads offer some help with that in their titles, most of the time. So, convenience and efficiency would be slight issues from the start. Still an interesting idea, though.

Okay, thank you

Yes, I agree it would have to be evident that it is a question. Perhaps writing big and colorful?

Although, this is still pretty useful for people who are too lazy to search for the answers to their questions. Plus, if it's a little one like the Aces question it'd be a quick answer no matter what.

I thought the spade was because aro sounds like "arrow" and a spade is kind of arrow-shaped.

Q&A forum is cluttered with threads where people posted before actually doing a search, or deign to do one at all. It does feel a bit redundant, after awhile, so from a forum management standpoint, the default is to try to avoid that redundancy. But, like you said, if they are short questions with quick answers (length depending on the question, of course), then it wouldn't be too bad. It would be mildly meh to read the same questions being asked, but anyone who frequents Q&A often enough can see this happens anyway. People need to read more before they post, imo. :p

Oh I totally agree. It just doesn't happen so I figured this could hopefully help that out a little bit :P
