marauders Posted October 21, 2015 Share Posted October 21, 2015 I used to swap between pads and tampons pretty consistently as a teenager and throughout college, but I've moved away from using tampons much, if at all, in the past few years. I usually buy a box and keep a few in my bag or purse as a sort of "backup", but I generally prefer pads. I have been sort of interested in looking into a cup, but I have this bizarre fear of it getting stuck and so I keep putting it off >.> Link to post Share on other sites

I had read all of these stories about them getting stuck and/or people getting TSS, and I got really stressed and wouldn't even consider buying them. My mom finally managed to convince me to use them after a year or two (I think we may have been going on vacation and would have been swimming, maybe?), but I distinctly remember being absolutely terrified of using tampons at first.
