Is there a name for this kink?

Okay, one thing I absolutely hate is being under pressure. I absolutely hate the idea that someday your life might depend on how fast you can run, or whatever. I also hate the idea of being given strict time limits with dire consequences, and so on.

The thing is, if the consequence is something comical or if it links into one of my other fetishes, all of a sudden it becomes really arousing. So for instance, someone having ten minutes to escape a set of ropes otherwise [fetishy thing] would happen to them, that would be a definite turn on. I've heard that sometimes people develop fetishes in order to deal with stuff they don't like the idea of, and I think that might be true in this case.

The trouble is, because I don't know the name for it (if there even is a name) I've been unable to find any porn relating to it. As ridiculous as it sounds it also makes me feel quite unpleasantly weird thinking that I might be the only one with this kink. Does anyone know of a name or a term for it, or even if it exists somewhere outside of my head? Cheers.

I've never heard of that kind of kink, but it's clear that you aren't the only one who has ever had an interest in such situations. Consider all of the escape artists from Houdini on who were really into that kind of thing (and not just as a fantasy), though no word on whether or not any of them found it arousing in that way. But that kind of thing is also an adrenaline rush for many people, even those who garner no arousal from it.

I already checked that, but cheers. The two you listed are too "serious" to really match up; the key thing is it has to be something trivial/fetishy, like getting soaked or something. On the plus side, there were a lot of fetishes I know about that aren't on that list. Where's Quagmire when you need him?

Huh, I'd have thought that if escape artists did partially do it for the kink element, it'd be more a general bondage thing than anything else. For me it doesn't have to be escaping ties; it can also be outrunning someone, sneaking away from someone or pretty much any tense, high pressure situation.

I think what makes it so hard to find, is that it seems to be a combination kink. I mean, if you replace the "fetish thing" with sex, it'd just be preferring porn with a certain plot device. I wouldn't be surprised if it was in fact a semi-common one in erotic fiction, but only sans the fetish thing and instead with regular old sex. Good luck trying to find some material with both this kink and whatever other fetish(es) you have, you'll need it.

Not necessarily. I don't think you could replace the fetishy thing with sex without straying into rape territory, and it's such a strong kink that pretty much anything fetish-related will do. Again, I just wish I had a name I could put to it. After that the rest should be fairly easy.

This may be a question you need to pose to Fetlife or some other fetish community. It sounds rare enough that you'd need to find people very experienced to know if there is a name for it. But, I doubt you are the only person in the world to have it.
