We should start a film studio

Count me in on the film studio 100% as a writer/editor.

I can see ways to make the zombie idea work and portray asexuals in a non-superior way. The way I'd do it right now is, I'd start off the movie with a major character--I'm hearing a woman, for some reason, kinda sardonic--narrating, something along the lines of--"So, get this. We're in the middle of a zombie apocalypse. It's wiping out the human race. Because of the way it originally spread, we've been left with a select group of survivors--mostly priests and other celibates. So that's who you'll see in the streets: people who either weren't allowed to have sex, or people like me who just weren't interested. I'm asexual. That's what it's called. I've survived by the purest, most idiotic accident. Because--do you know what this means? The only people left to repopulate the world are the ones least likely to do it. I just can't get over how funny that is sometimes. I mean, I'm sure we'll manage. It's not like we can't. There's such a thing as... you know, compromise. But there's one good, one really amazing thing about this apocalypse: sometimes I see somebody else still alive, and I get this urge to run up and give them a high five and say, 'You too, huh?'. I never had that feeling before. I used to think nobody else was like me. I used to think I was the only asexual person on this planet. And now it's different. Almost everybody is."

I like this idea of a new majority. Where suddenly people you meet are more than 50% likely to be asexual. Can you imagine being able to assume that after being invisible all your life?

This would be so awesome. I've been doing some film work as an actress, so I can help with that (and even getting some of my contacts to join in on the project) if this happens!

I think an asexual educational awareness network youtube channel would be lovely. One would have to be careful on what it displays though, if it represents AVEN. It would need a moderator, someone to approve of its content. In theory it sounds interesting, but in reality I think it would be complicated. How will we keep track of who does who? The upkeep?

That would require a member of the Project Team (preferably me, as I'm the social media person) to check the content and do the actual uploading and descriptions. In fact, we already have an official AVEN YouTube channel, though it's not widely used, and needs a bit of love. Seeing as I'm doing it up over the next couple of months, I'd be happy to bring the idea the rest of the PT and discuss whether it could be a platform for any films you make. :)
