I said yes because I'm pretty sure they would be able to tell it's me just by my screen name. I posted my face on the 2015 pic thread, so, yeah, they'd definitely know it's me if they looked at all my posts. I seriously doubt anyone from my circle, family or otherwise, would be looking on here though.

I don't know. There are things I want to talk about that I do not get to in person, and I enjoy being able to say those things and have discussions. However, I try to keep in mind when I talk about other people the idea that they will see it. I'm pretty sure I've heard that nothing is really anonymous and untraceable, but if that bothered me I wouldn't be posting. If I created a different account, for example, I think some people who don't know me in real life would still be able to recognize me by my choice of words, grammar, interests, behavior, and thought process in general.

Sometimes I feel uncomfortable when I look at how the hetero-norm is encouraged so extensively, and how much it is engraved into human history. I'm not saying or wanting to change everyone and I don't want to piss off anyone by being myself. Many people can post around here with confidence, but in my experience bringing up asexuality is only met with negativity and it makes things more difficult for me.

I tend to be rather private but I surely made mistakes over time that could result in puzzling "me" together. - Lets hope I am drowning the mistakes in my post count.

I guess it's possible they could if they were reading through all my posts. I don't really give away much details though, and I don't post any photos of myself or any local scenery etc, so it's unlikely.

Wow, I just googled "Sally asexuality" and up came one of my posts. Oh well, at this point I don't care.

I haven't thought about it, really, but I expect that at least some people could. My family certainly could; likely some close friends as well. Perhaps no more than that.

... Actually, come to think of it, anybody who reads my signature and particularly goes to any of my websites linked in it would be able to easily recognise me if they couldn't based on username, avatar, and profile description alone. Luckily I'm okay with that, or I'd have to work at fixing it. The above would be true based on just what I say and such.

Maybe my closest friends could, if they read my first post in the welcome lounge... But for the most part, I don't think my friends could identify me from my posts... but then again, maybe they're more perceptive than I give them credit for. I think that if they knew it was me they wouldn't be surprised though. (you know, except for the me being ace part, for those who I haven't told yet ;) )
