Should I tell my friend what's up?

I posted an essay length topic last week, but I realised that it was way too long for anyone to actually reply hahaha

I apologise for that massive length of rant, so I'm going to cut it down to a smaller paragraph this time.

I got really quiet after the movies with my friends last week, and two of them asked what was up. I said to one that I was just tired, because I was, and because I was sick. She said alright and carried on her way.

My other friend asked what was up, and I replied that I was confused. Now, see here. I said that to the person I like, who doesn't take "never mind" for an answer. I managed to get her off my back by suggesting to everyone that we walk around. I didn't want to say anything, because 1) I froze up, and 2) her mum was sitting right behind her.

Now, the question here is if I should tell her that I'm questioning my sexuality or not? I don't really want to tell her that I like her, because things change. I prefer to keep my scarce crushes under wraps. Every time I become quiet, which is becoming more frequent because I am seriously confused, she asks what's wrong. I tried to say, but I froze and just said it was nothing. Next time she asks, should I tell her? I'm scared because I don't know what her reaction will be.

Thank you :)

You want to know when is a good time to tell your crush that you like them?

There never is a good time, it is mostly when you feel like you are ready.

It will be difficult when you have the urge to express your feelings but there will be always something stopping you like her mother was behind her and you knew even uttering a word wasn't a good time.

Don't let it get to you what I mean is do not worry about her response over thinking and assuming her replies will eat you up even more that you'll refuse to tell her. Just breath and take you time.

How close are you two?

Before I told my best friend that I had feelings for her, I was really nervous, and I spent all of my time for days before how she could possible react. I ended up working myself up to the point where I was nearly having a freaking mental breakdown. I ended up admitting it to her, and after a few quite seconds she kindly tells me that she's straight, and it's ok that I felt like that, and it's not going to wreck our friendship at all. Yeah, our conversations with each other felt a bit awkward for a few days (we live together), but eventually things cooled down, and we're still the bestest of friends, haha

I guess what I'm trying to tell you is to not over think about what can happen. If you end up deciding to tell her, perhaps you might find it easier to write her a letter

Since the beginning of the year we have been friends. She as always been in our little group (we even have a group name hahaha), but I only really started talking to her this year. I have always had a little niggling feeling deep down, but this year it has decided to become a firework
