❅Snowflake❅
In good old days ,mainstream media are not with full of sexual content...people can't mention sexual topic openly.... I feel I got long-term harassment from mainstream media.
Sage Raven Domino
But, thankfully, we've now got the Internet allowing to select content effectively. I don't watch the TV at all these days, might as well just sell the set.

Even you use ablock to block them all ,those porn movie fans would often mention them in non-advertising form.
Sage Raven Domino
Pretty only time when I see suggestive ads on the web is when I play online chess. I've learned to ignore them (it's easy because the ads are all the same) and concentrate on the board. I'm not sure how Adblock will work in my case, but I might give it a go. WhenSummersGone
Our family just records shows and fast forward through commercials. It's the best! I agree though, everything is just too sexual these days.
MaxAmoeba
Snowflake, this wide and global reach of media, internet, cell phones is way too intrusive and addictive. And, to add to that filthy sexual content flying by everywhere, there is no escape until you cut off newspapers, television, internet, movies. But the good thing being, we have brains! We can decide consciously to choose what to get exposed to! :-)
Sarcastic Bob
On the up side, there are TV shows that handle stuff that we'd never be able to get 20 or 30 years ago. Innocent as it was back then, there's no way a TV station from yesteryear would agree to broadcast stuff like Game of Thrones or Breaking Bad. I get a bit bothered by sex scenes, but I'd say on the whole it's well worth it.

I dislike like sex scenes as heterosexual male dislike gay porn.

I don't watch the TV at all these days, might as well just sell the set. I gave up my cable, got rid of my tv and now I just select what I want to watch on netflix. This works much better for me. Those scenes are heavy at the start of the first season because "sex sells". It gets better. But personally I'd just go with the books.
