IanH
Hey AVEN, I have decided that I want to get my own black ring for my left middle finger. When I went to ebay, I found this ring: http://bit.ly/1qqH0IX These are the details about the rings color: Main Color: Black Ring Color: Silver It's very confusing. I want an all black ring, however this ring looks more silver than black. Does anybody have this ring? Can someone confirm that it's black? Thanks a bunch!
Sundance_
Cool ring. I know nothing about it. I do, however, heartily recommend this website for custom ring designs: https://www.shapeways.com/creator/custom-ring#landing (design area) http://www.shapeways.com/jewelry/rings?li=nav (shop for pre-designed rings) They are custom rings with custom materials, 3D printed. The cost varies depending on the material you choose (and prices charged by other designers, should you choose their design). It would be awesome if someone at AVEN made some asexual designs. But the designs they have available are numerous and amazing, so check it out!
littlepersonparadox
I already have a ring. It's like what they are discribing. It's stainless steal but coated black. I like it, i've worn it for 4 months stright now even in my sleep. (I feel naked and alone without it)
kelico
Hmm. I'm not sure on that! It looks black to me. I'm glad I got mine in person so I could really be sure what it was like. Maybe you can ask the seller more questions about it?
Kanenas
You must pick what you like. I am more concerned with material than with design. I hope I'm not too late to the party, I personally would advice you to buy a tungsten ring and I'm going to tell you why. Their price range goes from very affordable to outrageously pricey, depending on where you look. Anything between 15 and 1200 bucks! Check eBay and Amazon. There is a difference between tungsten and tungsten carbide which you can look up. But I've only made positive experiences with both variants. They come in black, gray, silver and a combination of those (I found that very suitable for gray Aces, btw) and the styles range from casual jewelry, logos, different patterns to plain or wedding band look. What I like about tungsten so much is that it is basically unscratchable. People who aren't too fond of it say that it, on the contrary, is not unbreakable and "prone" to shattering. That is relative. It's so much stronger than ceramic or hematite. No, it might not survive being dropped from a greater height. However, that's something I actually appreciate a lot. If the ring has to be removed in an emergency, it can be done using a regular tool every hospital should be equipped with. The ring will shatter simply and your finger will remain intact. Same story when your finger gets stuck in a door by the ring. I saw so many horror stories that I refused to wear rings for years but I am feeling okay wearing tungsten. Knock on wood three times for me, still, please.
IanH
My computer desk is made of wood, so I knocked three times upon request. :) Happy to help.
IanH
I decided to get this one: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009KS3LSG/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I think I like it better though. It's simple, it isn't too fancy, and it's just enough for me to express my pride without getting too "in your face" about it.
