So I think I might be asexual So I think I might be asexual and I'm really confused. I'm not really sure. So like I like boys (im for sure hetero). But I have noooo desire to have sex and to explore the male genitalia. Sex sounds disgusting and scary. I'm not sure if I am just scared of sex or just asexual or if I'm trying to label something that's not there). But I'm not sure if I'm just trying to label myself and I feel confused

Hi there! It's totally up to you what you decide to label yourself, or if you decide to label at all. I'm just going to bring up a few words/phrases that you may or may not have heard before.

Based on this I'm going to say that it's possible that you're sex-repulsed. You can be sex-repulsed and asexual, but you can also be sex-repulsed and sexual (in your case that would probably be heterosexual).

So like I like boys (im for sure hetero).

I think the key here is how you define "like." An asexual, simply put, is a person who doesn't experience sexual attraction. So if your liking boys doesn't have to do with sexual attraction, you might be asexual! That's because there are different kinds of attraction.

• Aesthetic (basically appreciating how someone looks)
• Sensual (cuddling, kissing, etc. - different people draw the line between sensual and sexual at different points)
• Romantic (wanting to date the person and such - pretty self-explanatory)

For example, I don't feel sexual attraction, but I do "like" boys romantically. Thus, I'm an asexual heteroromantic. (At least, I think so... I'm still working on all of this as well! :) ) You sound like you might be heteroromantic as well, but that's up to you to decide.

Feeling confused is totally alright. Everyone here is super nice and welcoming, so take your time, look around, and don't stress too much. You'll figure it out and learn how you'd like to identify. And if you decide not to label that's alright too! Whatever makes you feel best about things
