Its the great Political Spectrum Test. This was already done on here I think...but let's do it again.

Take the test and see where you place on the political spectrum and share the results (if you want) below!

Take the test here:

Smack between communist and anarchist, just as expected, even though those two things conflict a lot. Eh, I'm a punk rocker, so of course I'm radical.

Libertarian Left...almost exactly in the middle of the square. I'm not surprised.

Barely below Alexis Tsipras. I looked him up and he seeps a bit more radical than I am but I don't really know anything about him so I dunno.

A little more left and a little more anarchist than the Dalai Lama :D Makes sense. I listen to Motley Crue, Guns n Roses, Skid Row, etc.

Same, I'm a few squares southwest of him.

I don't really understand politics (cause I really have no interest in it) but I'm in the same region as the Dalai Lama and Nelson Mandela, so I'm cool with that :D

I also scored right where I did years ago when I took this test.

At least I now know why I find Thatcher a complete bint... she's right on the opposite side in every sense. It astonishes me how relatively close both the so called left wing and right wing British politicians are (and other politicians as well). Makes me wonder what is going on. Maybe you have to have a certain set of beliefs and convictions to make it as a politician of any persuasion, like being strongly pro business in a social sense etc...

Edit: this goes some way towards explaining for those interested: http://www.politicalcompass.org/ukparties2010

I'm in the lower left corner, me. Wouldn't have expected otherwise.

I love taking these kind of tests.

Econ L/R -6.75

Social Lib/Auth -5.23

A little to the southwest of the Dalai Lama. I can live with that.

What I found the most interesting is the comparison of the 2012 presidential candidates - I would've liked to have seen some more, the ones that didn't make it through the primaries, and Ralph Nader, of course - was that Obama and Romney were essentially identical. Contrary to what the crowd at Fox News proclaims.

I don't have the focus to take that test, but I figure politics is all an illusion of control. The two party system maintains control by making us think we came up with the ideas ourselves... electing Bush, Bill, Obama... or Hillary just means 4 or 8 more years of the same system. It's like keeping an idiot occupied while politicians rob the bank; it all seems to be an act of collusion most of the time. How's that hopey changey thing working for you? ;-)

The thing I resent most about the US Government is that they have made me question my own beliefs in the system. (Yes, Stephen Covey says, "no one can hurt me without my consent" so by extension, they're not making me do anything. I'm letting it happen. But still). I want some real change, but the system is so efficient in accomplishing nothing, I don't see that happening in my lifetime.

I've apparently changed from the last time I took this. I'm still on the libertarian end, but I'm almost exactly reflected on the opposite side of the economic line compared to the past. I've gone "lefty". My mother would be appalled. :P
