I guess I'd go with 30 if for no reason other than this.

Not that people who don't have kids by that age are murdered (killed) necessarily, but whenever there's an obit of a 20 something in the local paper, they likely didn't have kids.

I chose 10 but 15 is more close to what I want. I was a very annoying girl in elementary school and I was boring through middle school. I really enjoyed high-school, I made my best friends there and I just overall enjoyed life. Now I'm stuck in a self-loathing circle and it sucks.

20years old. Maximum brain power and better body conditions overall. After that is only downhill. Before that we are still growing up.

Given the choices, I had to pick 30 because there's no way I could give up boozing. (And I was never the kind of person who had access to the hooch when I was under 21) But if I got to pick the age, I'd pick 21 or 22 because college was the best time of my life.

I chose, 40. If I could have been born when I was 40, a kind of Mork/Benjamin Button mutation, and was able to just spend most of my life hovering around that age, then I would have been a lot happier. The first 16 years of life is hell. School, all that friends nonsense, unnecessary smooching, all pointless! Get rid of those years, please. 20's! Just as pointless. All that learning about life and how often you're going to get kicked in the nuts because of it. Skip it. The 30's aren't too bad, but we can still fast forward to the 40's and enjoy all that that has to offer. Your body, although starting to, isn't yet completely broken down. There's maturity, wisdom, intelligence, the ability to ignore those you want to ignore and not feeling bad about in anyway, but without the moaning, doom and gloom about the advancing years, that can, for some people, start in your 50's.

So, in an ideal world I would enter the world at 40. And pop my clogs at 49 ^_^

I don't know if this was like what age did you like best (and want to go back to) or what age you'd like to be forever, but either way i chose 20 (although anywhere from 19-29 would be fine with me), currently in that age range, i believe that i am best so far as i have ever been and as well being that age would mean to be the perfect age for many things, mature and immature :P

I chose 20 because it is a great age to be, I was young enough that I didn't feel like I had the weight of the world on my shoulders and old enough that I felt kinda like an adult. It was a good age. I miss it now.

But I wanted to choose 13, not more or less  (well, I went with 10)

I don't want to stay stuck at any age!

I don't think I understand this question.

I selected ten, because at twenty, I miss being carefree and nearly responsibility free. While I'd hate to rely entirely upon someone else, I miss the simplicity of life at ten. Where my biggest concern, being from a small town, was juggling homework, soccer practice, and having my mother plan sleepovers for me and my friends. The world seemed a lot less harsh. Then again, being from a small town near Boston, Massachusetts I grew up very sheltered.

As someone still in high school, who hasn't actually seen all but one of those ages yet, I would think either 30 or 60+.

At ten, you have the freedom to run and play and catch fireflies and just be a kid, yes, but you have very little independence otherwise. No drinking, no driving, and you have to go to bed when Mommy tells you. You have no taxes or big responsibilities like that, but the things you do worry about seem every bit as big and just as intimidating. Maybe it's just my difficult relationships with my family talking now, but I think we look back and romanticize the past too much instead of appreciating the present. Things weren't all sunshine and roses then, not quite for me at least.

At twenty, you'd have college and life and a while bunch of new worries you don't know how to deal with yet, right? And there's all that pressure to grow up and enter the 'real world'. You also have to spend time figuring out where your life is going and what career you're going to follow, etc, etc. Although I'm sure college is fun, I wouldn't want to live for an extended period of time with all that uncertainty!

At thirty, you're at your physical peak and you'd have adjusted to the world of Adult Responsibilities. But you're still pretty young and can go out and have fun without seeming 'too old' for a lot of stuff. Or old at all, really. No more college and grades and things; at that point, you get to start living your life, I suppose. Maybe getting married and having kids.

At forty, you might be more distant. You have your kids to take care of and might be growing distant from friends (it looks to me like a lot of people about that age do) and you're no longer young enough to do Young People Things.

At fifty, things start winding down. It just seems like a really depressing age to me. You're not young, but you're not old quite yet and your body really starts failing if it hasn't already...

At sixty or so, any kids will be gone and there may even be grandkids. You can retire and have way too much free time on your hands, just like when you were 10! But now you can drive! And you have all your mental abilities (mostly) and the physical deterioration might not be too bad. Also, this time instead of playing with the bratty kid down the street you can go play games with grandkids/great-nieces and nephews and things. And you get a bit of a pass to have fun and be goofy because grandkids and you don't have the responsibilities of work or school or trying to figure out where your life is going (because, well, most of your life already went). I guess I chose it because in some ways it seemed sort of like being a kid again.

You can be a kid at heart and all that good stuff at any age, I guess… but I think 30 or 60 might be nice if you had to pick an age to stay.

I picked 10 because I miss being a kid (I'm still a kid at heart). I'd love not having to worry about exams and homework too much, or money, and just have lots of time to play and no one would expect too much of you.

I would chose to be just under 30, since for me that was an age where I had a good combination of perfect health and maturity. Actually, if there was some way I could be 20 something again (early 20's) but have the maturity and life experience I have now that would be even better. This thread also makes me think of my best friend, who was always telling me (and even a few other people) that despite her actual age and gender, she would always mentally be a 9 year old boy.

I'd like to be 30 again, but this time knowing about asexuality and XXY, so I wouldn't have been an obese alcoholic unable to face reality. Maybe then I would have done better in life, but my own fault, so there we go

I wouldn't choose any other time besides now. I don't know what the (distant) future holds for me and my history, especially my childhood, isn't exactly a good one but now I'm more content than before (in many ways) even if there's still so much room for improvement.

I like to live in the here and now and work towards a better future, not be stuck in the past with regrets or whatever.

I'm voting 30. I free to do what I want and be myself. I've got enough age so people won't question my decisions. I'd finally be able to marry my sweetheart and life would be well.
