Besides a few issues (focus on discrimination based on the group X study, unsupported claims of corrective rape, et similar), she's been really good and especially brave to discuss this in high school :) :cake:

Yes, this is great, a good overview and introductory talk. She did a really good job, and I am jealous that she's a) so together at her age! and b) knew about asexuality at her age - lucky girl! Well done, Lisa Zhang, and thanks for being so brave and informative!

Glaring lack of distinction between romantic and sexual "love," especially when she talked about its role in stories, and by extension, romantics and aromantics. But it's good that she underlined just how much the queer community can erase us, either maliciously or passively.

I was surprised to hear that a survey found asexuals were more discriminated against than other orientation. O_o But that's just one; has it been corroborated? I guess we can "pass" so well that we don't realize how much we *could* be discriminated against.
